Lawful Metal
Excited to see Demaryius Thomas with the Texans. I know he’s older but with a better QB in Deshaun the sky is the limit for this offense. How weird he gets traded and has to play the Broncos right away? RIPPA
So Eli and Philip Rivers will always be linked. Another interesting/freaky way? Durability Philip Rivers will start his 200 straight game this week (Only Favre and the Manning brothers have done that) If he starts all the games the rest of the season - he passes Peyton. If he continues and also starts the first three games of next year - he passes Eli So basically - since both became starters, they have only not started one game. Matthew Stafford is up to 119, which is pretty great considering he was blasted as fragile his first two seasons.

RIPPA
Quote After the Miami Hurricanes hosted Duke at Hard Rock Stadium in a game played during heavy rains Saturday, there are mounting concerns about the condition of the field for Sunday's Jets-Dolphins game, per league sources. The Hard Rock Stadium field was a mess Saturday, and there are fears that it will not be much better for Sunday's game. It will mark the second straight year the Jets are playing on a sloppy field in Miami. It also serves as a reminder for the Jets' longtime-suffering fans of the 1982 AFC Championship Game that was played in the mud at the Orange Bowl, where the Dolphins beat the Jets 14-0. "The field is horrendous," texted one league source at the stadium on Saturday. "It's a complete s---show." Among the criticisms of Hard Rock Stadium are that the field doesn't drain well and the grass is of poor quality, one source said. One source blamed the NFL for allowing the field to be in such poor shape for the Jets for two straight years. There was concern overnight from multiple people aware of the field conditions. "Heard it here first," another league source texted Saturday night. "The NFL is going to be in the news for the Jets-Dolphins game field playing conditions."
