nate
I still think they missed the opportunity to have the Young Bucks actually take credit for the mass death rate at the Briscoe Chicken Farm that year. A feud wrapped around one team wiping out another's side business venture net profit would have been a nice change of pace these days.
Web Conn
I remember that promo Jay and Mark were assed out $50,000 and hadn't been able to go hunting yet. Boy was Jay pissed. My favorite Briscoe promo has to be "cosmetically pleasing" the one where they cut that promo on The Worlds Greatest Tag Team in the woods. Playa Shunna Ver 3.0
Briscoe promos need their own thread. We need room to discuss and dissect the greatness.
Territorial
Well to be fair, to have a pile of dead chickens kill by a superkick plague is suspicious. This is going to turn into one of those 1 vs. 100 discussions, isn't it? Like, would I prefer to see the Briscoes wrestle one giant chicken or 100 normal size chickens? (FWIW, I've heard the giant chicken wouldn't sell for Davey Richards in their match. And I'm pretty sure the Briscoes can work at least one superkick per chicken into a match with the 100, so I vote for the hundred).

All dem boys need for 100 chickens was one GOTDAMN shovel! SHEEIT!
BEN!
Maybe Col. Parker got Bunkhouse Buck to send his nephews The Young Bucks to poison the Briscoes' chickens in order to create a chicken shortage so the Colonel could increase the price of his chickens.
Spontaneous
So the mystery partner was BJ Whitmer in his official retirement match. Yeah. Whitmer is cool and all but this has that Final Battle 2003 who is the new prophecy member vibe to it. Why not announce that ahead of time if it is his last match? Big Fresh
BJ Whitmer is certainly not cool.
cool arrow
I knew it would be a disappointment.
Big Fresh
Apparently Whitmer turned heel on Edwards afterwards and started a new faction with Strong and Jacobs. If Jacobs and Whitmer are a team again, that's probably the best use out of either of them you can get.
Petey
BJ Whitmer? In 2013? Awesome. Unless he's sacrificing himself against CZW or trying to kill both Jimmy Jacobs and himself... I don't see the appeal.
HumanChessgame
Whitmer and Jacobs had some damn fine matches against Strong and Evens a few years back. I'm fine with them teaming again though I'm sure it will eventually lead to one turning on the other and yet another feud.
Big Fresh
Though I do not understand why they insist on a natural homegrown babyface like Roddy Strong being heel. But as stated, I like Whitmer and Jacobs back together.
cool arrow
Strong is, by a wide margin, the blandest, most generic guy in ROH.
Spontaneous
Whitmer's okay if you know what you're getting from him. But yeah, heel Roderick again, not so sure about that.
Newb82
Also... Ciampa new TV Champ, Silas beat Chickens (which shocks me), and reDRagon retained over Outlaw Inc in a match the crowd turned on and is being called a "disaster".
Big Fresh
Strong is, by a wide margin, the blandest, most generic guy in ROH. I wouldn't even disagree with that much. But his tenure and his "Mr. ROH" gimmick could still work wonders for him. Like how AJ Styles was in TNA for so long. Just known as a company guy with a huge catalogue of great matches. He should been standing up to SCUM when they were around.
Spontaneous
Heard a rumor Court Bauer is going to be working with ROH now, so take that how you will.
Big Fresh
Cole retained. Matt Hardy was his mentor. Hero returned and KO'd Cole and Hardy.
sabremike
The Kingston-Homicide vs ReDragon match reminded me why I hate ROH fans. Wasn't great but the crowd decided to shit on it just to show how "smart" they are.
Petey
Have never seen a ReDragon match but how did Kingston and Homicide look? Are they still at the level they were in say, 2005-2006 or have they aged?
HumanChessgame
The only recent stuff from either of them I've seen have been the matches they've had on ROH tv (and a little of Kingston's Chikara work). They tended to just brawl in most of what I saw rather than work a more traditional style but they didn't look bad at all. All the reviews of the match suggest it was really bad, which surprises me given the four involved.
madsplash
That tag match just never clicked...and the crowd just hated both teams after a few minutes, so there was no getting them back.
Big Fresh
I really, really liked Outlaw Inc. vs. American Wolves from TV last week though.
