But if you listened to most football pundits who know nothing outside of the Premier League, you would believe he is the best GK in the world and not Oblak or ter Stegen...

This is gonna be a sad season for them if he's the best again this season...

Ter Stegen is better, too. He doesn't get ranked up there, but he should.

Torino vs. Roma: Missed the first half, but the second half was great. Justin Kluivert came in as a sub and he made an immediate impact with some energetic runs; putting the breaks on a Belotti counter attack with a Nainggolan esque sliding tackle; toying with Torino and then sending a beautiful cross to the box to Džeko who scored the game winner.

Sassuolo vs. Inter: Snoozer. Inter have such a stacked squad, yet they couldn't get anything going offensively. Lame Miranda foul gave Sassuolo a PK and that was a wrap for Inter. Wanted to watch Nainggolan, but he was out due to injury.

Real Madrid vs. Getafe: Poor performance from Getafe. They looked afraid and wreckless. Solid performance from Madrid despite Lopetegui starting Ceballos and having Modrić and Casemiro on the bench.

Alright, been watching some CSL (thanks ESPN+)... People like to say MLS is a retirement league, but the CSL seems more so like that than the MLS.

Vets in the MLS at least look like they care, properly train still and are in shape. In the CSL, you can tell them stop training as hard as they did before and aren't in the same shape and/or form.

Valencia vs. Atlético de Madrid: Atleti looked amazing in the first half on attack. Lemar proved his versatility as a midfielder. Griezmann got a beautiful assist for Angelito who put Atleti up 1-0, but then things feel apart in the second and Marcelino's boys began putting the pressure on both ends and Rodrigo scored a beautiful equalizer. Fun game.

2 Serie A games down with Juve for Cristiano and still goalless. It looks like he's still getting adjusted to the league. He had a tap in today, but got his feet tied up and Mandžukić cleaned up and closed it out. Allegri shifted today to LW and played a 4-3-3 opposite last week he played as a sole striker in a 4-2-3-1. It was funny seeing him get frustrated because he missed the tap in before realizing he had to celebrate Mario had scored and they were up by 2.

Yeah, I think I've seen enough of the Special One. Fuck go bring in Jesse Marsch from Leipzig, at least us doing the insane pressing system would be fun to watch. That alone would be a giant improvement.

Tottenham currently beating Manchester United 0-2 at Old Trafford.

@Pete having happy days.

Eh, it's too early in the season to pay attention to the mid-table clubs.
