Man, I'd actually like a copy of the Room. Might need to flip my list to purposely tank.

IS IT STILL WINNING IF YOUR GOAL IS THE BOTTOM THOUGH?

(Not ACTUALLY doing this, because the joy is in the competition dammit)

There is no honor in deliberately tanking your list to fail.

There is HONOR in actually trying, and failing miserably.

Infinity War dropped to 84% on RT. It has 271 reviews in.

For frame of reference - Wonder Woman last year had 373 reviews and Spider-man Homecoming had 317 reviews.

So it can still move around a little but most likely settle in at 85%.

Basically this is my way of saying I hope you didn't have it #1 on your RT list

Die in a fire. I was looking forward to winning (losing?) Xanadu and you took back the cellar from me!

So with Infinity War pulling a $250 domestic opening, I think it's fair to say my tiebreak should just be lit on fire.

Well, he did tell you what he was doing

Again, it's completely different from going for the cellar as well.

Even if we may suck at this, but at least no one can deny we're actually TRYING.

In good news for some (many?) of us - Overboard is at 29%

I think a lot of us had Overboard dead last on our RT ballots.

Yes.  21 people put it on their RT lists and nearly half of those, 9 people, ranked it dead last.  No one put it higher than 11th.

It's worth noting that in last year's contest, there were 6 movies that had an RT of lower than 29%.  I don't know if that was an exceptionally bad year...

I hope y'all put Overboard near the bottom of your box office list (or just left it off)

$14.7 million its opening weekend.

I had it near the bottom, but probably not low enough.

Hopefully this shitty movie will be on enough screens to pull in enough money to squeak past the two movies I have at the bottom of my BO list.

Yea ... had it at 11th.  Not too happy about that.

I assumed it would pull in a decent number cause there is NOTHING even close to traditional date fodder out right now, but probably underestimated people just forgetting about it and going to see Infinity War multiple times.

That's actually higher than I expected it to open, and now I'm worried that I estimated it's 28-day a little total too low.
