I'm not even sure he is 5'5". I have all the respect in the world for Rey. Because of his size, he literally had zero chance to accomplish what he did. And he did. Pritchard wanted him because of the Fallen Angel gimmick, but Vince took one look at him and said he was too small. It would have been strange to have someone who would've been seen as a total rando with no national tv exposure be the Undertaker's boss, Vince's new number one nemesis, and presumably Austin's new challenger. Maybe Daniels could have pulled it off, and of course WWE's filled with guys Daniels size now. It certainly doesn't seem like it was considered for very long and was just part of the process of them trying to get out of the corner they wrote themselves into. If anybody could have pulled off an angle like that, Brian Pillman was the guy.
