(BP)
Our 2-year-old recognized Remember Me from Coco and pulled me from the couch to dance with her, so this was totally worth watching.

piranesi
This show is fucking awesome. I love that it is great and entertaining and I literally lost track that it was even an awards show and that Fox news corpses are going to be aneurisming over it adn everyone is going to ignore them. All we had to do is let some more kinds of people up there to talk and, hey...it's pretty goddamn fun and feels important again. You know, that thing called "being relevant" they wring their hands over every year when the show is boring and everyone complains about it. EVA
Not an undeserved "lifetime achievement" Oscar either. When you consider how much crazy shit Villeneuve threw up on screen in BR2049, I feel like this was probably his toughest job.
(BP)
I'm sure they missed others, but no Michael Parks in the In Memorium was bullshit.
piranesi
I completely missed Joseph Bologna's passing. Everything I saw him in as a kid screamed out to me "When you grow up this is what your midlife crisis will look like."

piranesi
Jeanne Morreau was there, but it was hard to see because they cut to a long shot at that moment.
elizium
Tobe Hooper is the main one I heard. Didn't like the montage this year, too quick and not enough clips. Maybe it would have been in bad taste to show a clip from Night of the Living Dead when Romero appeared, but c'mon....

I wish they had kept doing the montage of previous winners they did for supporting actress for every award. That was swank.
