Conor McGregor got himself banned from driving in Ireland. Apparently he was doing 95 in a 60 zone (only not, because Ireland is all kilometres now) in a Range rover. His 12th driving offence in his life. Spend all that money on fancy cars and you can't even legally use them.

I think Torres can win that fight unless her camp has a mind numbingly stupid game plan again.

That camp in Colorado they got going on with her and Pennington...I don't know what can be said other than sometimes you have to learn how to balance priorities. If you're going to perform as badly as Pennington did against Nunes and de Randamie, you might as well save your money and train your damn self.

So apparently the first UFC show on ESPN+ will be the debut of Greg Hardy.  Although he has fought on those contender series shows for Fight Pass.

Not the best way to start but it does seems like the Dana thing to do

As oppose to fighting on any other UFC show?

BTW Cejudo vs. Dillashaw has been moved to the Brooklyn card.

Debuting him on the same show that Rachael Ostovich will next be fighting on is probably the most counterproductive one to do so on, so yes?

1. Ostovich probably should not be fighting after suffering a broken orbital bone in the first place. The only reason she is taken this fight is she isn't likely to ever get this opportunity again because she frankly isn't that good of a fighter. Ostovich probably won't even be in the UFC this time next year.

2. No one is ever barking for Michael Johnson, Abel Trujillo, Anthony Johnson, Travis Browne, etc. to be pulled from shows with female fighters whom I'm sure suffered from domestic abuse. Did anyone ask for anyone not to fight on the same show as Bec Rawlings or anyone else? I don't remember that.

3. If anything, the UFC using the domestic abuse trailblazer platform is bizarre when this fight is going to marketed on the surface based on the looks of the women. Ostovich is getting a cushy co-main or main card spot she definitely don't deserve over literally dozens and dozens of fighters who would represent the UFC better in their new television era, but putting her on the same card as Greg Hardy is the straw that broke the camel's back. Moreover, they are not going to be doing ads on ESPN hyping up PVZ versus a woman fresh from getting assaulted by her husband. It would be the same with Andrea Lee. They probably won't ever mentioned her ex Neo Nazi husband who allegedly took part in domestic violence himself let alone connect that with her in marketing who she is. They will probably touch on the Arnold Berdon thing as lightly as possible if mention it all.

News bits:

- Just like earlier this year, UFC is moving what was suppose to be their Southern California card that was running H2H with a Bellator card in the same area to another TBD date. Instead the UFC is focusing on stacking the Brooklyn card on ESPN a week before. So Whittaker vs. Gastelum will be the first PPV of the year.

- Therefore, the Brooklyn card has added Donald Cerrone vs. Alexander Hernandez and Thomas Almeida returning from a long layoff to fight Cory Sandhagen.

- On Fortaleza card, Johnny Walker will fight Justin Ledet and Ricardo Ramos will return against Said Nurmagomedov.

Eleven Sports is apparently out, and the UK TV rights are likely to return to BT sport after all. Eleven had told UFC that they'd be available on SKY and Virgin by now, but they haven't managed it. So UFC cancelled the deal and now Eleven might be closing their UK office altogether.
