APO
http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21838351 So Clowney called Blake "trash" after the beatdown on Sunday and Jaguars Twitter decided to respond. This is so deliciously petty.

Brian Fowler
So just how inevitable is it that the Pats are gonna sign James Harrison and he's going to wreck the Steelers in a playoff game?
Dolfan in NYC
This game is pretty much a foregone conclusion, however, I do want to note... These nonstop Animoji IPhone ads are going to be the thing that people look back at in 10 years and say, "oh God.... Remember when Apple thought that would be a thing?" And the other person will say "What's Apple?"
Gonzo
Jay Glazer just said that there could be anywhere from 13 to 14 head coaching changes in the NFL, starting this week. I don't know who he's counting and who he's not counting, but holy hell.
elizium
Jets, Broncos, Bengals, Browns, Texans, Colts, Washington, Giants, Cardinals, Bears, Buccaneers There's 11 right there. I know the Browns said Hue was coming back, but if they go 0-16 how can you justify it? Maybe the Raiders? Sure Carr got hurt, but they underachieved greatly. If the Cowboys miss the playoffs, I could see Garrett going. Same with Andy Reid if the Chiefs flop in the playoffs again. 13 to 14 does seem like a high estimate, but there are a lot of middling teams. RIPPA
Quick glance of my Twitter timeline shows that this is a good week to not be getting the feed of the Skins game
RIPPA
And re: the Jay Glazer report There are 15 teams right now under .500 so basically he went “All the teams who don’t have a winning season might fire their coach”

johnnyboy
Gronk is not even human. When he returns to his home planet, what tales he wil have to tell them. Ridiculous one-hander for the TD.
SirFozzie
That was insane. not just to make the catch, but to get two and a half feet in (if you count the possible contact when he controls the ball, three feet)
Ryan
Exceptional: Quote Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky just passed Kyle Orton (1,869/2005) for most passing yards in a season by a rookie in franchise history.
sabremike
I think it's safe to say Petty is not very good. This Chargers-Jets game is setting the sport back by about 40 years.

elizium
That was a TD by Benjamin, foot was dragging, ball was pressed against his torso. NFL catch rules are so dumb (broken record). If I was in charge of the rules, the NFL would have the loosest catch rules. Who cares if its moving (which it wasn't in this case), as long as it doesn't touch the ground and one foot is in, it would be good.

SirFozzie
Well, the Bills gave up on the game in the 2nd half, that call right before the half wasn't the knockout blow, more like the liver shot that makes the opponent go numb and lowers the hands and sets up the KO shot
