The SEC put a rule in that teams had to play a game during the week before Thanksgiving. Some teams responded by setting up the SEC/FCS Challenge for the week before Thanksgiving.

SEC should respond with a rules amendment forbidding those schools from playing FCS sides once league play starts. Teams from power conferences shouldn't be playing FCS sides period because they are about as competitive as the Globetrotters vs Generals, and also the very real risk of injury in the sport with the athletic and size mismatch.

The ACC had at least two games against FCS teams yesterday as well.

I would like to see FCS games abolished. There's enough non-power 5 conference teams they can schedule to beat up on, plus Army, New Mexico State, BYU, UMass and soon Liberty will all be FBS independents to beat up on.

You are aware that Army is actually quite good these days and no longer a cupcake (a few weeks ago they actually beat an ACC team)?

Army hasn't beaten a .500 team this year. One of their wins was over winless UTEP, and another one was over one win Rice. The ACC team they beat was Duke. This might mean something in basketball, but not as much in football.

You can only beat the teams that are on your schedule. And last year they beat both teams who played in the AAC title game. Bottom line is that Army isn't a team that you fatten your record on at this point, they are actually quite a good team.
