Baffles me that Hills and Battle Royale haven't gotten the treatment yet. And Phantom of the fucking Mall is deserving of the deluxe treatment?!

BTW, I was reading one of Joe Bob's books where he talks about Deep Throat and he said that there was a prominent company named Arrow Film and Video that was involved in porn back in the '70s, and was mobbed up to boot. I'm assuming the two are no relation...

@Control now the question is if you can watch and listen to all 20 discs plus read all the material.

I got the Arrow Yokai Collection on preorder.  Pretty excited about some old Japanese fantasy/sci-fi.

Their Japanese selections have been really offbeat and intriguing. I really enjoyed IREZUMI, though I'm glad to see that they're not just doing exploitation-y stuff.

I am extremely interested in that one.

  • 2 weeks later...

Been very very good and, in the last couple weeks, have not bought anything from the used store that is being flooded with horror/b-movie/cult blu rays. I gave in and had him put a copy of Breeders (1986) on hold for me to pick up this weekend. I intend to own every movie LeeAnn Baker appeared in, so I couldn't resist. If only someone would release a high quality cut of Necropolis and not the shitty dubbed VHS looking Full Moon DVD that's out there.

Went to pick up Breeders and also left with Black Sabbath, Eaten Alive and Microwave Massacre (and a $9 blu ray of Bill and Ted Face The Music)

Never seen Eaten Alive, pretty excited for that one. It’s the Arrow release

The 3 titles announced for Vinegar Syndrome’s Black Friday pre-sale are FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN (3D & UHD), CREATURE with Klaus Kinski, and Dario Argento’s TRAUMA.

People rightfully pointed to the high price tag of the Criterion UHDs. Suggested Retail Price for FRANKENSTEIN is $80USD!
