By the way, not the same garbage truck that carted him off.

But... same company that carted off Seth's statue:

I choose to believe during g the week that Braun had an off screen adventure where he got lost and had to steal another garbage truck.

Also that reveal shot of Braun was perfection.

Fade into fields of wheat swaying in a gentle sunlit breeze

"down here in Apple Valley we like the simple things."

cut to a closeup of a baseball on the ground next to a white line

"things may be slow. But there is beauty here."

cut to a closeup of a picnic table filled with food

"it's a place where you can get in touch with the basics again."

cut to a boot stepping up onto a truck bumper

"but when the time comes to bury something deep."

cut to an image of Seth Rollins statue being covered over with filthy landfill

"when you have something ugly and mean."

cut to a garbage truck slowly coming to a stop

"well you remember Apple Valley then too."

slow zoom into the back of the truck

"we've been doing this a long time and there are a lot of secrets buried here."

continue zoom into back of garbage truck

"and when you call on Apple Valley to bury your monsters. they stay buried."

camera stops and pauses. Suddenly a loud crash is heard against the back of the truck

"...mostly."

fade to black [paid for by Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce]

Sadly, he was way way too clean to have come from the back of that truck. I was really hoping for him to be covered in trash, or at least dirty.

True. But it had a trashy horror vibe. I dig that as a horror fan.

Last week, Nia Jax walks out.

This week, she defeats Bayley.

I can't figure out the proper emoji to register my reaction ...

Joe Hennig was 38 years old.

It's times like these when I miss Bobby the Brain.

He'd have chimed in with, "Services for Mr. Henning will be this Thursday at Two PM."

To his credit, Braun made the jump without seemingly hurting himself, that's more than can be said for other people with limo shenanigans.  But on second watch, I guess they got a short backed limo for that reason.

Braun should have looked like Luke Harper coming out of the garbage truck. Brodie Lee knows how to do filth.

Axel was probably having visions of his father beckoning him to the light.

I always wondered why the book didn't do the obvious thing, turn TL Hopper face (or make Duke a heel), and then form a tag-team with him and Duke The Dumpster Drose.

They could've been Men At Work before Kanyon & Starr were.

The only thing I remember about Duke is him getting his ass beat so bad they had to put the Red X over it.

The red X made it seem like "Outlaw" Ron Bass was murdering Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake.
