Boydy
The Rock would find her some acting work while she goes back to doing the plus size modelling, I don't blame her not wanting to wreck her body when they aint even pushing her, she should of been pushed better, why didn't she get a 6 month run with the title as dominant Women's champ and have Bayley eventually beat her or Asaka beat her when they called her up from NXT, just a waste as she is different to the other women.
JohnnyJ
Since they can't effectively book multiple women's programs at the same time, performers positions on the card swing wildly. One week you're competing for the title. Two weeks later you're an afterthought taking a clean pin to the next challenger. It's musical chairs. You can take the top 10 women on the roster (out of what 15?) and outside of Bliss (who has had some protection) and Asuka (protected by nxt) all the parts are completely interchangeable. Nice Guy Eddie
Nia always seemed to look like she'd rather be doing anything except wrestling. I think that's why I never could get into her. If she doesn't want to be there, why should I get invested in anything she does?

Niners Fan in CT
And it's not like Sasha has been handled correctly.. she's had to eat a ton of BS on the main roster and still hasn't quite recovered. Nia isn't the only one.

Burgundy LaRue
There are four or five rumors about why Nia took a leave, from unhappy with booking in general to not wanting to lose to Sasha anymore to her back being legit hurt from that nasty bump she took a few weeks ago. Her BFF Alexa Bliss suggested that Nia was physically spent and just needed a couple weeks off. In other words, who knows. If Nia did ask Rock for advice, I can 100% believe he told her to walk. She's the one full-time female WWE star with options, because of Rock. She'll be back, regardless. She's got Total Divas to promote. It wouldn't surprise me if this was something done with that show in mind.

BubblegumRogue
Jax has been wrestling for a bit over 2 years. If The Rock had walked after that amount of time put in, his whole Hollywood career never would have happened. Bad advice if that is how things went down .

Leaving WWE because you're being booked poorly is like leaving porn because someone spooged on you. We don't know what really happened but, if this is true, it's pretty stupid. As someone else said here, walking out due to your booking when you're two years in the business is a) dumb and b) markish as fuck.
MORELOCK
It's weird that everyone is shitting on Nia now for being frustrated, but no one was shitting on her three weeks ago for her terrible mic work and the fact that despite being three times the size of all of her opponents, none of her offense looked like it hurt all that badly. She never should have been called up, let alone pushed.
RIPPA
Random little updates on things from the new Observer - Chris Jericho was contacted about being a TLC replacement but he couldn't do it due to the Fozzy Tour - The reason HHH was brought in for the 2nd Chile show was because the local promotion paid almost a million bucks ($900K) for the shows and they were less than pleased that AJ and KO were off the 2nd show. - This was mentioned in the Japan folder but since I am sure at some point someone will ask. Matt Riddle will not be making his New Japan during the NJ Tag League. The "belief" is that NJ's parent company found out about Riddle's testing positive for marijuana in UFC and nixed the deal. - Dave confirmed the PWI story about the WWE UK TV show. The WWE would rather it be on UK TV (and thus get paid for it) then them just airing it on the Network. The hold up is that ITV only wants a 10 week commitment so they can evaluate at the end of the 10 weeks and the WWE wants a longer commitment. The name of the show will be "King of the Ring" so if you thought the tournament was coming back - sorry about your damn luck. - The Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen match will be at Mania. (They subtly teased it during the Sasha/Bayley Ride Along segment that was on the Network this week) - And Dave's version of the Nia story Quote The situation with Jax is simply that she got a few weeks off because she wasn’t figured into a main program. She’ll be back for the European tour, but stories that she walked off, was mad about money or anything like that are inaccurate. While you could use the term leave of absence, she didn’t like that term since it’s just a few weeks off. Bliss, who is her good friend in real life, said that they talked about it a lot and that the schedule is very demanding and sometimes you get run down, and she said that everyone needs a reset
RIPPA
I thought we originally talked about this in the UK Wrestling Thread but I guess it was here. For the folks wondering about a Jim Breaks arrest update Quote British legend Jim Breaks, who is currently in custody since his 6/30 arrest on suspicion of the murder of sometime girlfriend Donna Cowley, was in the news this past week as his credit card was used to make 75 purchases recently while he was incarcerated. Police believe they found the perpetrator, a 30-year-old male who claimed he found the credit card, who has multiple previous arrests, which was used for a number of low dollar purchases so he would never have to give a pin number. Breaks, 80, is being held in Gran Canaria, the island he lived in for more than 20 years. Regarding the Hall of Fame, the reason Breaks is not on the ballot this year is because he is still being held and under suspicion for murder, since some asked why he was taken off the ballot. Breaks is battling dementia. He is expected to be tried at some point in 2018

This is pure speculation, but I wonder how much of this could be due to the training resources. Does everyone get trained in the same way? Do they get trained in ways that highlight their strengths? Is this because we're in such a go-go-go super indy workrate world right now, and that is to some degree the NXT style. What guest trainer could they bring in to teach Nia how to work to her size? It's not like they're pulling in Aja Kong (or Amazing Kong for that matter) or anything. Would it have made sense to have Mark Henry or Big Show come down and mentor her for a while? For someone who may or may not have grown up a fan and who is in all senses a rookie, I wonder if the potential homogeneity of the developmental system could be partially a detriment in this case.
