He was definitely putting it all together in NXT by the time he was released, and I've seen him work decent bouts in one of m local indies against less than impressive opposition. And that was after being Irish Whipped chest first into barbed wire and Power Bombed onto the ouchey side of a steel chair. The vidcap alone endears one to look back fondly on the Megumi Kudo / Shark Tsuchiya FMW feud. Speaking of horrible women's wrestling in FMW, was Bad Nurse Nakamura ever in anything good in that fed? I want to say he had a solid chain match with Ricky Fuji, Onita FMW I think it was in, Ichiro Yaguchi, Leatherface and a bunch more with others I can't recall. Oh and that weird match against Shark Tsuchiya in IWA Japan, which is on one of the "best of 2001" VHS tapes and can be found on MuttonAndTheHam's youtube channel. Wish Lynch knew some one who whent to all the IWA Japan shows, bet there's a bunch of tapes and later DVD-R's that were only sold at those shows. He was legit just awful from most of what is on tape in the 1990's and seemed like a total waste of a space. Even in early NOAH there's... not much there. Then in 2003 he burst into a series of really good matches basically out of nowhere. starting with the GHC title match with Kobashi (which was panned as an idea before people saw it because he'd basically never done anything).
