Another graveyard shift, but we're watching Jigoku right now on TCM and Tôkaidô Yotsuya Kaidan comes on in about a half hour.

My co-workers are wondering how they lived so long and never watched something as awesome as Jigoku.

Anyway tonight you need to be aware of the following DVR worthy movies coming on TCM.

12:15PM EST Mutiny On The Bounty

2:45AM EST WHAT'S UP DOC~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES~!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4:30AM EST Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore

Sounder comes on this Thursday at 10PM EST.  I will not watch it because I will cry and then I will be angry with all white people for at least four days.

If you get the TCM app, you can watch most everything from the last month or so, plus whatever they have in permanent archive.

i tried watching Dr Lao, but 5 minutes of Tony Randall in Asian make-up speaking Pidgin English was enough for me.

Just now, J.T. said:

Doc Savage was everything I remember it being as a child.  Simply glorious.

My daughter laughed at me.  I did not care.

It’s wonderfully hokey. And fun that it’s character actors playing the Five and not big name 70s actors.

The Elephant Man comes on Monday the 23rd at 8PM EST.

If you want to experience a beautiful movie that will render you horribly depressed, wish to have your faith in humanity shaken to the core, enjoy the taste of your own tears, and want to use a whole box of tissues to blow your nose, by all means tune in.

Guess I'll be up all night then. I really don't want to tap out during Kwaidan but it'll probably happen sadly. If you haven't seen Les Yeux Sans Visage it comes with my highest recommendation, absolutely DO NOT MISS IT.

Prince of Darkness is a little lame-duck as far as Hammer Draculas go but I highly recommend Risen from the Grave. The Monster I've never heard of.

Because J.T. didn't list 'em here's tonight:

The Devil's Bride 7 Central (dammit)

The Curse of Frankenstein 8:45?

The Mummy 10:15

The Curse of the Werewolf 12-ish (so I can rewatch and argue with J.T. about it)

The Plague of the Zombies 1:45 (Hammer's only zombie pic)

The Reptile 3:30

EDIT: I guess this is The Monster. Interesting https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Monster_(1925_film)
