If wiki is to be believed she was the one who asked for her release to care for her then sick daughter. Oh yeah she was, but she definitely had a connection with the kids in the crowd. I vaguely remember her denying that story about the sick child, I also vaguely remember her being outed as doing escort work years later. Pretty fuzzy on all of that if anyone wants to fill in the blanks/correct me

ChesterCopperpot
Very sad - 39 is way too young. I read she was back training at a wrestling school again There was also that story about an incident on a tour of the Middle East that WWE turned a blind eye to that will surely resurface in the next little while - http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/ashley-massaro-wwe-lawsuit-sexual-assault/

Classy as always. Considering Matt's still with WWE it might be best for him to have a talk with her about this. I don't think it'd negatively affect him but I can't imagine it's a good look for him.
Nice Guy Eddie
Reby Hardy is a vile piece of shit. Let's not forget this is not about her, nor make it about her. RIPPA
From the most recent WON Quote Independent wrestler The Bruiser (Reggie Carrington, 42) of MCW, who has been around the Maryland scene since the late 90s, is battling leukemia. MCW is doing a benefit show for him on 6/1 in Joppa, MD with Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Shawn Spears (Tye Dillinger). Another wrestler with that promotion, Martin Eason II, 33, who wrestled as Eric Chapel, passed away due to a suicide on 4/29. Eason left behind a wife and kids ages 11, 8 and 4. He was found dead in his home and it’s a heartbreaking story as his family had no other source of income. Chapel had been working area shows since at least 2005

I didn't mind Bruiser's brawler style even if he was much more about plunder as time went on. But he's always been a great person to be around and people always gravitate toward him when he's out to hang around. Regardless of who's gonna be there it should make for one helluva show. Though having GoD and Shawn there is certainly a bonus.

I think he may have been. You ask me if I could have any two guys in hiistory to build a fed around, the answer is always going to be Randy Savage and Barry Windham. If I can have a third, it will be Randy Orton.

hammerva
For east coast indies fans in the last couple decades, tonight has been sad news as we learned of the passing of long time CZW and well almost every other indie promotions photographer Lyle Williams passed away. I believed he was fighting with cancer most of this year but don't know for certain. Again anyone who has followed east coast indies since 2000 has seen and probably said hi and talked to him. One of the true good guys in the business

Such a great hand in the ring, and was involved in one of my favorite rivalry’s in the 00’s. That being Burning Vs. Kensuke Office. There was the famous Survival match, but there was a ton of excellent matches from SEM that weren’t talked about much from that period. Admittedly I stopped watching NOAH at one point, and haven’t watched much of All Japan outside of the recommended Kento matches, so I’ve completely lost track of him. Lamp, broken circa 1988
Aoki was a shining light in declining NOAH, and was someone I always went out of my way to see. This bums me out, but it gives me a reason to stop pretending like AJPW doesn't exist and go catch up.
