RIPPA Posted June 1, 2017 Author Posted June 1, 2017 Raul Mendoza - who was in the CWC - has officially been signed
MORELOCK Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 I think this thread should kick off with @Brian Fowler fully explaining himself and being specific when he shits on Almas's ringwork, because mannn...
JonnyLaw Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Any word on whether Martin Stone/Danny Burch has signed? With his video and new? song, it seems like it may be coming.
RIPPA Posted June 1, 2017 Author Posted June 1, 2017 Pretty sure he is still in the "guys the WWE can trust" category where he isn't signed but they will always use him when needed.

He was probably my favorite one and done guy in the tournament. They signed the Bollywood Boys, Mustafa Ali (who has turned out to be really good), and Hoho Lun, right away, but Mendoza is the one I wanted to see more of.
Cristobal Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Little worried about Mendoza just because Kendrick was the MVP of that tournament. Yeah his match with Kendrick was good but Kendrick's match against Nese was significantly better, (the match with Ibushi was better than that, but Ibushi).
Eivion Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Glad they signed Mendoza. He is one fo the guys I wanted to see more of after the CWC.

Ramo2653 Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 At first I thought Mendoza was the guy that went by XL. Does anyone know what he's up to?

Iron Moose Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Brigit O'Regan (one of Nakamura's Toronto violinists, and a friend of a friend) has some stories about the whole experience here:
RIPPA Posted June 2, 2017 Author Posted June 2, 2017 Kennadi Brink made her debut last night on the NXT Orlando show as NXT's first full time female ref
RIPPA Posted June 2, 2017 Author Posted June 2, 2017 And in case anyone was wondering - yes, she will work men's matches
Craig H Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 So we have our second new NXT theme song and this one, like the last, just makes me think of:
Craig H Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Ah, I should have just waited a minute longer. I knew that someone did a custom NXT intro with Thorn in Your Eye. The intro video itself is dated, but the music (with about the worst lyrics ever) works well for it.
Wyld Samurai Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 I'm surprised they haven't signed that Italian dude from the CWC that was built like Hercules and trained by Das Wunderkind.
NikoBaltimore Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Fabian Aichner? If that's who you're referring to he was tremendous in CWC. I was hoping by now they at least considered bringing him in. 1

nofuture Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Odd since it's the same person who Tweeted that out.
RIPPA Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 JJ said in another tweet that she was announced as that thus why he wrote it
