*Mahabali Shera won the 10 Man Gauntlet for the Sony SIX Invitational Trophy:
-Davey Richards eliminates Suicide
-Eddie Edwards & Davey eliminate each other and brawl to the back
-Spud eliminated Swoggle
-KM & Kongo Kong eliminate Matt Sydal & Rockstar Spud
-KM & Kongo Kong eliminate Moose
-Mahabali Shera eliminates Kongo Kong
-Shera eliminates KM
*After the match, Shera celebrates with family at ringside and is presented with the trophy by Bruce Prichard & Scott D'Amore

*Ethan Carter III came out wearing an Indian dress with different music and his tron saying "Ethan Singh III" along with a translator. EC3 claimed to have Indian blood in his lineage and talked about Impact making history then changed his tune, saying he's rich and this is a third world hellhole. EC3 says he's here to destroy history and he's the best in the world. EC3 gets mad at the translator and whips him with his belt until James Storm makes the save.

*Josh Mathews def. Sandeep via Steiner Recliner submission after a swanton bomb. After the match, Josh wouldn't let go until Mahabali Shera made the save but Shera was attacked by Lashley and Josh put Shera in the Recliner until Alberto el Patron made the save.

*Moose comes out for a promo and says 2 weeks ago he defended his Impact Grand Championship against a dummy. Eli Drake interrupts with Chris Adonis. Eli talks about nothing changing with the new regime and that Moose knows he beat him. Moose challenges them to a tag team match at Slammiversary and says he will reveal his partner in due time.

*Braxton Sutter (w/ Allie) def. Trevor Lee. After the match, Sienna & Laurel van Ness come out to challenge Allie to a tag team match if Rosemary shows up.

*Sonjay Dutt def. Low Ki(c) with the Hindu Press to become the new X Division Champion. After the match, Mahabali Shera, Eddie Edwards and others come down to celebrate with Sonjay.

I should be insulted that Josh Matthews got put over guys like Shera but to be fair Josh Matthews probably has the same in ring skill as Mahabali and he hasn't wrestled in over 15 years.

Wait, did Josh hit a Swanton?  I guess that's their little shot at the Hardyz.

Somehow this is Dutt's first time winning the X Division title. I would've sworn he'd won the title before, but shockingly not.

Dutt's title win was good and it was nice to see Shera over for once in his home country. Not as over as I thought he would be though.  The rest of the show was some bad comedy and you would think Josh/Steiner vs Parks/Borash was the biggest match in Impact history given how much they continue to mention it.  Josh didn't look awful in his match but can't really bump that well. Good senton though.
