The women's title match is for the best.  That could be an unexpected blessing in disguise, with her not in it it could build to her coming back more motivated and earn the title shot again.  Plus with the focus of Nikki/Ruby it puts more focus on their story with Asuka being the common enemy.

Really it works even more off the fact that Asuka has now screwed Ember over twice. The time was just a last minute cheat, now with the injury it can be more personal.

So with the UK match added how many of Drew, Almas, Black, Ohno, and Roddy aren't going to make the show? They finally get a stacked roster, and can't even put together feuds for their best talent.

Drew vs. Almas is probably a match. I'd guess Sanity vs. some combo of Strong/Ohno/whomever is on the table. Black is in squash mode, so I'd be fine with holding him off and starting a program with someone at the next tapings.

It is a little weird that the big-name indie dudes haven't had real storylines beyond "hang out with Tye and fight Sanity" - part of the problem is that Almas has been the only heel not in a tag team or stable, so the big glut of faces can't do much beyond team up or beat Almas in a singles match.

Well Almas was supposed to be a part of the post-Mania callups but then wasn't so I don't think they had long term plans for him since they weren't expecting him to be there.

Ohno is another guy they don't seem too interested in doing anything with.

It's become fairly obvious he wasn't brought back to "do anything with". He's taking over Tye's job as the veteran for the youngsters to work with, presumably with a coaching job in his future. Keep in mind his girlfriend will probably be in after the tournament as well.

Color me curious, but who's his girlfriend?

It's weird. They've done such an impressive job of rebuilding the roster, but it's really lacking in direction.

Yep. NXT has lost it's luster compared to 2015, NXT's best ever year followed by 2016.

Both had tattoos done since their match to crown the first WWE United Kingdom Champion? Did they already have them when it happened? Look new to me.Thanks.

Really?  Given how they seem so damn nice I'm quite pleased with knowing they're a couple.

And I think she's going to be in the tournament, it would make sense to since the crowd knows who she is.

Ohno needs to drop some weight if he expects to be used to his abilities. He's 10 years too young to be pulling out the Jake Roberts '96 look.

Either that, or change up his ring gear. The Sacramento Kings knockoff is tacky.

It's been talked about many times, but even when losing weight at the Performance Center he still has a thyroid issue that keeps the weight on him.  But more flattering gear would work, even if the knockoff gear's part of what makes him who he is.

Hopefully, the answer is Almas
