Elsalvajeloco
With it coming out tomorrow, shouldn't there be a flood of reviews pretty soon?
The Unholy Dragon
My RT list is looking more and more disasterous. Was really banking on Baywatch being middling and Pirates being awful.
Niners Fan in CT
Baywatch is on the climb. Up to 20%. Can it make a run at King Arthur? Pirates is down to 31%

RIPPA
Pirates "only" has 78 reviews and Baywatch "only" has 70 reviews So I expect each movie to get at least 30 reviews in the next 24 hours

At least. The average number of reviews for blockbusters on RT is around 250 or more. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 has close to three hundred. Elsalvajeloco
I guess due to London premiere being cancelled and the fan reaction so far, the Wonder Woman embargo ends at 9 pm PT May 29 (or midnight eastern May 30).

S.K.o.S.
Stats post! So I've always thought that you need to do two things in order to win this contest: 1) Rank something differently than everyone else, and 2) Be right about it. And obviously #2 is a lot more difficult than #1. I decided to take a look at who ranked something different than everyone else, i.e. people who ranked a movie higher or lower on a particular list than any other person. The list in the spoiler is sorted by the number of movies that each person has ranked higher or lower than anyone else. It's a good snapshot of at least some of the things that your success is hinging on. Some of you are already aware of some of these, like Rippa knows that he needs Wonder Woman to do really well on RT. For example, next to _MJ_'s name it has "All Eyez RT 8 ↓", which means he has All Eyez On Me at 8th on his RT list, and the ↓ means he has it lower than anyone else. Hopefully it's not too difficult to read. If something's underlined, it means that the person went waaay out on a limb, because they have it at least 3 spots higher/lower than anyone else. Take into account that particular rankings might not be as crazy as they seem, because people can leave different movies off their lists. i.e. I might have a particular movie at 3rd on my box office list and you might have that same movie at 8th, and depending on what movies we chose to omit from our lists, it's possible that we could both have placed that movie exactly right. ZERO Ace hobo joe Paco ONE _MJ_ (All Eyez RT 8 ↓) caley (Wonder Woman BO 9 ↓) Elsalvajeloco (The Mummy RT 14 ↓) Hail Sabin (Dark Tower RT 4 ↑) J.T. (Baywatch RT 15 ↓) Lacelle (Pirates RT 15 ↓) Niners Fan in CT (Baywatch RT 7 ↑) RossWB (Transformers RT 12 ↑) Sublime (Capt Underpants BO 15 ↓) TWO DreamBroken (Pirates BO 2 ↑, Pirates RT 5 ↑) The Natural (Dunkirk BO 3 ↑, Atomic Blonde RT 11 ↓) Phantom Lord (Alien Covenant BO 14 ↓, Guardians RT 1 ↑) Rippa (Wonder Woman RT 1 ↑, The Mummy RT 6 ↑) The Unholy Dragon (Emoji Movie RT 7 ↑, Despicable Me RT 15 ↓) The Z (King Arthur BO 10 ↑, King Arthur RT 8 ↑) THREE The Erotic Terrorist (Emoji Movie BO 4 ↑, Spider-Man RT 8 ↓, Dunkirk RT 6 ↓) ivpvideos (Planet of the Apes BO 4 ↑, Despicable Me RT 5 ↑, Alien Covenant RT 10 ↓) SorceressKnight (Guardians BO 6 ↓, Wonder Woman RT 12 ↓, Baby Driver RT 13 ↓) FOUR King Leonidas (Cars BO 12 ↓, Planet of the Apes BO 13 ↓, Alien Covenant RT 3 ↑, Valerian RT 6 ↑) S.K.o.S. The Unholy Dragon
Man. I am really on a limb that the Emoji Movie is gonna be a surprise hit. No guts no glory I guess. That said I can already tell I'm going to eat shit on Despicable 3 RT.

J.T.
I need the window of horrible between King Arthur and Baywatch to be wide enough to fit in The Emoji Movie. Wonder Woman being under a review embargo makes me think that reviews will be mixed. This does not fill me with confidence. Captain Underpants is also under a review embargo. This also does not fill me with confidence.
Elsalvajeloco
I think both films are solidified around the range they're going to be at. Baywatch is going to be around 17-20 and Pirates is going to be around 29-32.

This does not fill me with confidence. I wouldn't be surprised if this is precautionary after the cloud reviews put around BVS and Suicide Squad's opening weekends. Sure great reviews would help sell it but they thought BVS was incredible so they're erring on the side of caution. A lot of reviewers have been positive in informal ways on social media so I don't know that I would expect reviews to be worse than mixed.
