Court Bauer and Alex Greenfield got a copy of the Pandemonium script and are reviewing it on the MLW podcast today (I haven't listened to it yet)

Thanks for the heads-up!  Downloaded

Didn't he pull off (as well as he could) a slingshot to the outside, onto Barbarian(?) during that match? I vaguely remember it being a not terrible, but what you'd expect hoss match.

**edit**

Okay, maybe not...

Nord's legs are disturbingly shiny.  It's grossing me out a bit.

92-93 Nord is worlds better in-ring than any Brody I've ever seen except for maybe heel 1978 Brody. There's not even an argument. That's basically the truest statement I've ever uttered about pro wrestling. I wouldn't call anyone who said differently a moron, but I would say that they certainly didn't do the legwork.

Between the Breakfast Club and the Flapjacks, I feel like we missed out on some epic breakfast-based factions stable wars where naturally Robert Fuller ends up in the role of Captain Crunch.

And renames the Stud Stable as The Cereal Killers

From the WON daily update it sounds like this is being created by the people who did the Jesse Ventura movie-

  • MLW Radio has a show reviewing the original screenplay of the Vince McMahon movie. Some of the stuff is so ridiculous it's not even funny, including Linda working at a strip club, and Vince bringing 35-year-old porn star Jimmy Snuka into wrestling, and Vince discovering Andre after an argument at a restaurant in Montreal and seeing Andre was a guy who ran the restaurant.

The true question is: how will they cast André? Will it be Big Show in a bad afro wig and doing a fake French accent? Or will it be Khali in a bad afro wig talking like he usually does?

Also, if the Montreal screw job is in, it will most certainly make Bret look somewhat evil, but to be fair, not dropping the belt on your way out is a dick move. No matter how you spin it.

You have been badly misinformed.

This would be the end result:

How so?

They may be referring to the fact that Bret was willing to drop the belt on his way out just not to Michaels and would have dropped the belt at Raw the next night at least that's how the story goes.

Then I'm not misinformed. I honestly think if a promoter tells you to drop the belt at a certain point in time to a certain individual, you accept it and go along with it, especially on your way out. Not saying I'm cool with what Vince did, especially beforehand, but the doublecross I can understand.

Vince screwed Bret out of the title on November 9th, so Bret couldn't appear on Nitro on November 10th.But Bret's WWF contract meant he couldn't appear on WCW TV until the second week of December anyway. After Montreal, with Bret's WWF deal obviously over, he still didn't show up on Nitro until December 15th.

EDIT to add: Bret's WWF contract stated he had 'creative control ' over his character. So he absolutely had the right to to refuse to lose one match... especially considering all the matches Michaels had refused to lose (the Euro to Bulldog being the obvious example).
