MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA (Here be Spoilers)

RIPPA

Shock Trooper mod went on sale yesterday.  Already bought it.

Now I have to figure out which Power Cell using classes should be using a shotgun as their primary weapon over an assault rifle.

So far I am coming up with nada.

Angaran Insurgent, maybe? Short range specialist, in terms of a 'hold this location' aspect.

I almost feel like the one DLC HAS to be about what was teased in the Epilogue

And if that is all we get - I am fine with it because it is the only thing I want from the game

Good call.  The extra Trip Mine would just about help you hold down any area on multiple egress maps like Magma and an improved shotty would finish off what your mines didn't kill instantly.

See, I've been playing the Insurgent and carrying a Shotgun, but I'vebeen doing it on Bronze (low level) and mostly using a Carnifex. Makes no sense that I'm next door to useless with a Sniper Rifle, and Headshots for days with a Hand Cannon, but I'll take it.

I played two MP matches but gave up after that because the lag is very real for me tonight

Maybe after these storms roll through it will be better

I stopped playing to get dinner. Will be on later.

we had storms at around 1600. Done by 1615.

I'm starting to get pretty good drops now that I've finished up all the uncommon guns and characters.  I've got a little over 50 uncommon weapon mods left to go, and I'm trying to clear em out with advanced packs.  Right now I'm getting 1 rare drop about every 5 packs.  Not sure what the ratio is supposed to be, but that's much better than I was doing.

Ok so robert pissed me off last night. Running all asari adept with dan vs kett. No guns shot except on big bastards (fiend and ascendant). Make it to wave 6, retrieval. Robert grabs the first one and gets insta killed by a fiend. Instead of the objective going back to its starting point it stays where robert is laying dead. This game doesnt have and glitches so only thing we can figure is he either stuck it up his or the fiends ass just before he died.

Shit yes. That was funny shit.

Found another glitch today. Joined in game that was already under way. Wave 2. It was the map with 2 buildings on the sides and the stip down the middle. I start running toward enemies just to be warped back to the beginning. This happened over and over again. Wave 3 starts and its devices. I would run toward a device and would get warped back to the starting location. Finally on wave 4 the host got kicked, made a new host and everything went smooth. It kinda pissed me off but kinda funny at the same time. Hey im gonna melee this bitch nope im gonna start back at the starting point. Finally just pulled out the sniper and got to work.

I've had that happen. It would let me move around the map if I turned sideways, jumped and evaded in the direction I wanted to go. But I'd find myself losing health and shields at random times when nobody was firing at me. I did manage to join the Hack, but all I did was Nova and jump melees, because all the enemies were behaving oddly.

I got the silent Kandros for the first time yesterday.

Completed the six waves despite that and the massive lag and then of course on extraction the host finally crapped out.

Thankfully we all got put in another room on extraction again with all our points up until that point.

That was always dicey when it happened in ME3

Okay - so there was an entire 2nd task attached to scanning the bodies on Eos

So either it was bugged and finally patched or you can't do it if you finish the first half during the Epilogue.

Because it didn't unlock for me on my first playthrough

Because I am so anal - I talk to everyone about 100 times.

So the guy who kicks off Part 2 definitely didn't give it to me in my first playthrough.

There are a few things that either I missed or forgot already as they seem new when I come across them now.

Spoiler

After you scan all the bodies - go to Prodromos

Talk to Majordomo (he is inside one of the buildings)

He thinks things don't add up (In fact that might be the name of the Task)

From there you do the normal go around scanning

Now I am making a second spoiler in case you don't want to know the conclusion

Spoiler

Long story short - you find survivors from Site 2 in a shuttle in orbit around one of the planets

The world's slowest Mass Effect: Andromeda playthrough continues!

-Got most of Kadara cleaned up, I think, though I'm sure there are more tasks that I'm going to end up going back for eventually.

-Happy I got the "athletic" casual outfit so that I could meet the Moshae and go to Sloane Kelly's shindig wearing my sweet new Beats by Andromeda headphones around my neck.

-Only convinced one of the three Angarans on Aya to migrate to the Nexus. One thought I wasn't taking the situation seriously enough (since I said they wouldn't let me on Aya if I was a human petri dish) and couldn't guarantee another a job.

-The Project Overlord callback was nice. Could have done without the person responsible taking a bullet to the head right in front of me, though. . .was actually hoping to avoid that. Hope that doesn't come back to bite me later.

Progress is being made, though.
