FIRE PRO WORLD

I'm really glad that there's a way to remove the cap.  I am still doing pretty damn well with my Horror fed and decided to do a new save running AEW.  I made a misstep and started in the small hall instead of the gym.  Luckily a few months in the gym helped me recover nicely.  Going into year 2 I'm doing pretty well for myself though still having difficulty getting the fucker from SL who won the HW title to do another show.  At this point I may just start over and remove the cap.  Since I flew through it in one sitting it won't break my heart to do it right and get the whole crew (barring any real life additions to AEW of course)

Did you put one of your belts on the line on the show?  You have to do that to proceed.

I did. It really is acting like a glitch. I'll dig in again after work today and see what I can figure out.

If anyone uses the PS4 version, a reddit user named Miguel-Francisca (who does top notch work) made 15 different logic templates for various styles to make creating edits easier:

So, my save was doomed but I restarted. I used the L1 L2 cheat and while it's nice to have the ability to start with a bigger roster, it also jacks your starting cash to 10 million which sort of sucks the air out of the challenge. Still, booking Fire Pro...not bitching. I fucking love this add on.

Removing the cap is great though I noticed it takes more fiddling around to get a good card going.  When the cap was in effect I could just hit the random entry button and all was well.  Now I have to factor in tag teams and women's matches and the like.  So either the matches will be fantastic or I'll have some 70% matches with some stinkers thrown in.  Halfway through the first year it almost seems like more of a challenge to hold onto as much of that $10 million as possible.  At least when starting small the money gradually increases.  It's interesting to play through though I'll be going back and forth between that and my other fed that had the cap initially.

Using the more expensive ref should take care of that 70% issue.  It still happens sometimes, but the increased number of 100% matches is pretty significant.  Even my lower card guys are doing those now.

I guess Mr. Judgment is a pretty shitty ref then.  Didn't think that would factor into it but I'll spring for a better ref next time.

My first stab and I did not know the ref's had different costs. I was using the most expensive one for  months.

I'm in quite the hole now.

Goddamn zebras

The Young Bucks already made their move to heavyweight in real life so yeah, they were never going to be included.

Are we sure that's not just one on the other's shoulders while wearing a trench coat?

The Bucks couldn't happen, there's only 4 Superkick variations in the game, and you can't set the AI to sell nothing but randomly have Matt's back go to 0 HP.

There's no Double Superkick either, is there?

If NJPW was being hands on, they'd insist Switchblade Jay White was added imminently. Him being the new headliner and all.

Fire Promoter is fun, but I almost feel like it's too easy. I did one on normal going against 8 other feds. By my 3rd or 4th month, I came close to running out of money, but since all of my events kept having matches between 90 and 100% and I sold out everything other than my 1st event, I decided to run a larger venue with tickets at $40. I nearly sold that one out, which wound up earning me a lot of money.

My biggest problem at this point is that I'm running my promotion as a strong style promotion. This means that even though we only run one fucking show a month, EVERYONE IS HURT. I had my top heel wind up on the shelf for 4 months and one of my top faces wind up on the shelf for 3 months. Everyone has neck injuries. With how many head and neck injuries there are, I should have named my promotion CTE.

I might just wind up starting over and going with hard mode over normal and doing a showman promotion because I think maybe the strong style promotion is too hard on wrestlers.

I've run into the injury thing with strong style as well. I used the cheat so I now have 18 guys on my roster but I'm having to rotate guys on and off to avoid the injuries. I had two guys hospitalized in the first 3 months.
