You would have to download edits and new moves, so most edit makers are releasing new versions. I just started downloading rosters a couple weeks back. I probably should have waited but in the end I will be doing a lot of work to put in custom moves and fucking around with the extended move list so it doesn't really matter.

Thanks. I've committed to the slog. It's half the fun I guess.

Someone has also started a list on Steam compiling redone versions of a lot of mainstream American wrestlers w alongside the updated moves they have so far: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2137975147

Laughed uproariously at the Sid thing and a lot of other recent creations. So mean. After a miserable period for Pro wrestling, perhaps extreme banter fan made moves will save us

Word of warning for PS4 users:  a lot of people are saying that their games are all of a sudden missing a ton of edits. Everyone seems to think that itstdiddy took down all his edits and custom parts for some reason. If you go to his page on Fire Pro Net all that's up are his moves.

Yipes.  I did subscribe to quite a bit of his stuff but at least in the game there's ways to see what's missing.  It sucks because he had some really good things on there so hopefully suitable replacements aren't that hard to come by.  Either that or since it was mainly WWE folks I didn't play as much with I might not even miss some of them for all I care.

EDIT: Looks like he's starting to put his stuff back up so that's cool. It did essentially unsubscribe itself for whatever I got from him. But I'll just redo the subscribing when they come back up. Then to be safe I'll copy what I can just in case something like that happens again.

He's uploading some stuff again but most of it is new and not the old stuff he had up. Check your edits, if you have any missing parts you're gonna have to delete them and download them again. On a positive note, SausageRollSammy (the other guy who was uploading a lot of Avenger's stuff) has said he'll start putting up the edits tdiddy took down.

%edit^ actually it looks like now he's put a lot of the old ones up again but you still have to delete the ones you had and re-subscribe to them. I'm not going to bother this time because who knows if he'll do this again the next time his feelings get hurt about something

I noticed some of the comments were from fools that were criticizing either a lack of parts on it or some other dumb shit.  Seeing some of his responses it wouldn't surprise me if he said "Fuck it" and took them down as a result.  The old ones I didn't really use much, it was mainly ones where they were linked to parts that were created elsewhere.  The ones where he made the part I don't think I got too many of.  But IIRC for a fair amount of his edits they were for wrestlers I didn't really use anyway.  So the ones I'll get again won't be nearly as many.

At this point I think the only thing I'll keep up on the site are custom moves as they've been going nuts with all the creations.  But that'll be about it for awhile at least until maybe middle of next week.  We'll see how things are by then.

For those of you on PS4 here are links to some moves I highly recommend:

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/mortula13 This guy has several basic submissions that he changed so they can no longer end a match. So if you've ever had a match end with a chin lock, a head lock, etc you'll like what he's got up

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/Jurassic_Punk_13 Foley's corner punches/running knee, Rock's corner punches

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/RMP_FPW Arn Anderson's spinebuster, Tully Blanchard's slingshot suplex, R & R Express double dropkick and 3 different Midnight Express double teams

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/orange6-3 Several variants of Stan Hansen's western lariat

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/smokedbreads Sunset Flip (off top rope, springboard, running)

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/RecallBerserk Another guy with some no-sub basic submissions as well as some pinning moves moved to medium grapple (small package, backslide, etc)

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/repomaniacs The old "ram a guy's knee into the ring post" move as a corner grapple as well as Bret Hart's ringpost figure four

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/AlmightyLP Stunner, Pedigree, Superkick all as striking moves, Orange Cassidy's hands in pockets taunt

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/nogman7 Jake the Snake DDT, Rude Awakening, Shake Rattle & Roll, Austin's Thesz Press with punches

New batch of edits up and if you have been thinking "MAN I wish there were more 2000s era All Japan and NOAH gaijin in my game" well have I got good news for you. Mike Barton, Jim Steele, George Hines, Johnny Smith, Giant Kimala 2, Richard Slinger and Keith Walker are all up for download.

https://firepro-w.com/user/profile/BrianS081177

These are my first edits that require custom moves so be sure to download those as well.

So guys

The Cactus Jack elbow can't be done, right?  Because I figure I'd have seen one by now.

I would think it could be done starting with the outside apron grapple but I guess not.

I don't see why not. It just hasn't been done yet. JamesRah has a lot of moves that go from either the apron or in the ring to the floor and look good (though some look better than others).

So far, he's published:

  • Hiromu's sunset powerbomb to the floor
  • Dragon Lee's rana over the ropes to the guy on the apron to the floor
  • BBB tossing Spike to the guardrail.

Probably some others. So yeah, I don't see why not. I don't recall it being done during the wazamake days either.

KRadiation's Cactus is money too. His faces are a little too much on the realistic side and ideally he gets it closer to what the DLC characters look like but it's still helluva lot better than what we once relied on.

Wow, Keith Walker is an extremely deep cut

Honestly if I hadn't seen that he and Bison Smith were tag champs I probably wouldn't have bothered. I usually like to watch at least 15 matches to get a good deep moveset and plenty of priorities for logic but with Walker I stopped after like 5 because he's exactly what he looks like. Generic late 90s-early 00s power guy with shitty tattoos who does the same moves every other late 90s-early 00s power guy with shitty tattoos does (Spear, Lariat, stiff chop, etc)
