Anyway, it's eerie (well, not really) how Braun's path at the moment is similar to Ryback's. Ryback was squashing jobbers, managed to get over more than creative wanted him to get over, was put into World title matches anyway and lost them because creative had no intention on pulling the trigger with him, and then wound up jobbing to Mark Henry at WM. Braun is getting really over now and while he isn't challenging for a World title, he may as well be challenging for the Roman Reigns title. It will be interesting to see how much creative and Vince are behind Braun this Sunday. If the match ends in a DQ and they protect Braun, or if Braun wins somehow, then it will look like they've learned from their mistakes. If he loses, then they've learned nothing and it's going to feel very familiar to what happened to Ryback because when it came time to protect the guy or pull the trigger, they wouldn't do it. On the other hand, if he wins clean, then it's like they're strapping a rocket onto the guy's back. I'm hoping they protect him and we eventually wind up with Braun vs Brock. I guess they thought it just wasn't even dumb ENOUGH for her character, so they just gave her two first names Also, it's too bad Eva Marie is suspended because her vs. Kelly Kelly might be the best trainwreck match imaginable. Curt McGirt Posted February 23, 2017 Share Posted February 23, 2017 That is hilarious. Reminds me of the Stairway to Hell match where Hak was wrestling on acid and thought Sabu was Godzilla. And of course Sabu broke his jaw in that one and just taped it up. Actually ended up being a pretty good match EDIT: Ending with a single cane shot was a pretty good move on their part considering the injury. There's a moment where Sandman is standing there with the barbed wire halo bleeding like a sieve and Joey quietly says "oh my god" while the whole crowd, despite the vampires they are, look stunned. And she looks like a Disney princess and she's still got heat. It's a great video and her journey should be told but only once she turns face again. She removed WWE from her Twitter handle a couple of weeks ago that wrestling twitter made a big fuss over.
