RIPPA Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Hey man I can't believe that happened! Stupid predictable WWE! Fuck Randy Orton! 6
RIPPA Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! THIS FUCKING COMPANY!!!! 17
The Man Known as Dan Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 That was a very good Rumble, then Reigns came in and even with him losing it, good fucking god, who thought that was a good idea unless it was supposed to be a Roman heel turn. 1
Nice Guy Eddie Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Cena/Orton feud again? I just threw up in my mouth a little. It was a fun Rumble until Brock, Goldberg, and Taker came in. Jack Gallagher should have been in longer. I've come around on Baron Corbin. I hated him in nxt, but he's gotten really good. I was pumping my fist when he eliminated Strowman. 2
The Man Known as Dan Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Just now, Nice Guy Eddie said: Cena/Orton feud again? I just threw up in my mouth a little. Look for Bray to win the title at the Chamber. 1
sydneybrown Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Just now, Nice Guy Eddie said: Cena/Orton feud again? I just threw up in my mouth a little. You're gonna throw up more when you find out what it is REALLY leading to...
just drew Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Wyatt's gonna win Elimination Chamber, right? He has to. No one thinks Orton/Cena is a good idea.... Poor Enzo. Tye Dillinger at 10 was awesome. The Ellsworth thing was cool, too.
RIPPA Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 It was like "See - we gave you Dillinger at 10! You can't bitch about Roman now!" 6
MarcosLoura Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I don't follow the producto, but the Cena vs Styles match was pretty great. Orton winning the Rumble in 2017 though...
Web Conn Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Yeah I think Bray is gonna grab the title in the EC. Randy turns on Bray we get Bray vs Randy at Mania. Fun Rumble match and good PPV.
elizium Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 That Rumble died once the Undertaker came in. Watching him shuffle around while dudes fling themselves at him is not my idea of a good time. You know you've booked a bad Rumble when the final elimination happens and your first thought is, thank god Orton won. Yeesh. AJ/Cena made up for the bad Rumble (which was honestly pretty fun until the finishing run). Didn't want Cena to win, but his interaction with Charles Robinson during the belt exchange was pretty sweet. 1
Craig H Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Oh man, I'm so happy young upstart Randy Orton is finally going to get his shot for the world title at Wrestlemania against John Cena... This company is pathetic. When #30 was about to come out, I was so ready for Samoa Joe. And then it was fucking Roman Reigns. Again. 9
Guest Edwin Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Dillinger at 10 was predictable. No Joe was disappointing. Strowman looked great in that. Unpredictable outcome. Harper vs. Bray and Orton vs. Cena at WM are possibilities. Taker vs. Reigns confirmed for WM. Great Royal Rumble match nonetheless.
GuerrillaMonsoon Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Yeah, just a bit of internal logic or character motivation wouldn't have killed them. Just once. In the entire show rather than the constant "Oh well"/move on. Why have Lawler commentate (and his burying of Zayn on the preshow was fucked) if for no interaction with Dolph? Why have nothing come of Lesnar being eliminated by Goldberg, or Goldberg and Taker? Taker and Reigns? The finish to the other title match seems redundant now. Reigns was fit enough to come out at #30 but not enough to cost Strowman? Total bitch move.
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 How did Reigns even get the #30 slot? I don't want to hear no "it's wrestling, you're not supposed to think about it" bullshit either. How the fuck was he even in the match? Besides that, I don't know how to feel about Orton winning. I figured he and Bray would have a blow off at Mania but not involving the title. Also, while I enjoyed the Cena/AJ match, nothing interesting is coming out of this. AJ is now stuck in the midcard bullshit and Cena will be facing someone I don't care about. 6
The Man Known as Dan Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 It was a fun Rumble for the first half I should say, then REALLY slowed down late. It was just everyone killing time till Brock, Goldberg, Taker, and Reigns came in, cause those were the only people that "really" mattered. Even Orton was just in the right spot at the right time.
Fallacy! Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 What the fuck happened to Undertaker. He looked slim and in shape when he was on Smackdown before Survivor Series, but he looked bloated as fuck tonight. Could barely do a chokeslam without tumbling over. 1
RIPPA Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 Everything was good to great except for the actual Rumble The Rumble was a Rumble It is always so silly when all the big names just happen to get late numbers.
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 So I guess Mania is Taker/Reigns? Cena/Orton? Goldberg/Brock Strange card.
Web Conn Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I liked the Brock/Enzo exchange crowd was nuclear for it and it went the way it should have. 2
Guest Edwin Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 AJ vs. Cena was fantastic imo and I thought Jericho was winning the Rumble match to setup a title match with Owens with Jericho dropping the US title to someone on RAW due to Owens trying to help him, but failing to do so.
Guest Edwin Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Surprised to read everyone disliking the Rumble match itself. I thought it was great.
RIPPA Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 Poor poor American Alpha - clearly the SDL tag titles mean nothing 6
HumanChessgame Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 The rumble itself was pretty good (best I can remember for a while actually) up until #25 or so. I kept hoping Joe was going to debut but no big surprises. For a while I thought Corbin was going to eliminate Taker and we'd get Taker/Corbin at Mania which wouldn't be terrible. Strowman going out the way he did was also kind of surprising. Orton winning is complete shit. Of course they put Goldberg, Taker, and Brock in at the last five while all the full timers do all the work beforehand. The undercard was pretty solid. AJ/Cena was awesome and probably an MOTYC. Swan/Neville was also very good. I'm guessing they're saving Charlottes big ppv loss for mania. This match here with Bayley was solid. Owens/Reigns was better than I'd been expecting. Good show aside from that shit rumble ending. 1
