DEAN
Debbie Combs is awesome in this. Donna Day gives off the Angry Denny's Waitress who is so glad to be wrestling now vibe.

DEAN
Youtube keeps sending me 50s/60s/70s American women's wrestling which I never paid much attention to. It's a lot better than I thought because I'm guessing that when I was first being exposed to it, it got overshadowed by the awesomeness of Japanese women's wrestling. Watching it on it's own, I'm getting a better perspective on it. Here is Wendi Richter wrestling heel, which I don't think I've ever seen before. She's good at it- in that her offense is really good. Princess Victoria is teeny and adorable.

Cobra Commander
IIRC, wasn't Wendi a heel on Mid-South TV either simultaneously with the beginning of her WWF face run, or really close to the beginning of that run?

Yes, the angle with MX and Duggan. Wendi is made an honorary member of the Express in June 84. She beats Moolah in July 84. Pete
Savage's WWF debut has the heel managers warmly greeting each other while they marvel at their target's, well, savagery. Some neat character development for that group- they may be jerks, but they bear no ill will towards each other and game recognizes game. I'd totally forgotten Aldo Marino was Ricky Santana.
