Impact Wrestling - Airing January 12, 2017 from Orlando, FL

*Ethan Carter III comes to the ring for a promo and complains about Davey Richards interference in his match with Eddie Edwards. Lashley interrupts and challenges EC3 to a Last Man Standing match to determine the #1 contender. EC3 accepts and wants it right now.

*Lashley def. Ethan Carter III in a Last Man Standing Match after putting him through a table to become #1 contender.

*Rockstar Spud dressed up in a light blue suit introduced "The Kingpin" Aron Rex, who came out in a big fur coat with flashy rings on. Rex said Spud had been reborn and claimed 2017 is not about violence. Robbie E interrupted and ended up attacking them but Rex and Spud beat him down with Rex laying Robbie out after a punch with his rings on.

*Decay def. The DCC (Bram & Kingston w/ James Storm) via DQ when Storm hit Abyss with a water bottle

*Braxton Sutter def. Mike Bennett (w/ Maria Kanellis). Allie came out midway through the match to combat Maria at ringside.

*Rosemary came out for a promo and said there are no more challenges for her to take on. Jade interrupts and wants a rematch. Rosemary agrees and challenges Jade to a Monster's Ball match next week. Jade accepts and Rosemary attacks her.

*The Broken Hardys def. The Wolves to retain the TNA Tag Team Championships. There were signs of dissension between the Wolves.

Rex and Spud as Liberace and Scott Thorson is interesting. The next step has to be Spud driving out in a Rolls Royce with Rex playing Reby's piano.

Show went by pretty quick. Lashley/EC3 was good stuff and felt like a war as it took up a good amount of time. Enjoyed the promo setting it up as well with Lashley killing it on the mic like always. Finish wasn't the greatest with Lashley taking the brunt of going through two tables but EC3 not getting up. Decay/DCC was a fun brawl while it lasted and Hardys/Wolves was pretty good stuff. Liked Rosemary's promo work as usual, should be a great monster's ball.

Rosemary is defending against Jade.  I really want to see Rosemary and Allie kick the crap out of each other, but this match has a lot of pants free potential.
