TNA One Night Only PPVs 2017

Pretty standard show for the most part like last year's Live ONO, but most everything was good and some of it great with solid story progressions. Lashley/Richards was very good in the opener. I'm glad to have Davey back and a great start for Lashley's year, surprisingly nice clean finish as well. Bennett/Moose was pretty awesome with the no holds barred match, some great spots throughout and both guys looked good. They continue to deliver solid matches together. Love all things Rosemary and Broken Hardys, good performances from them as usual. Another fun main event with EC3 & Eddie.

TNA One Night Only: Live (January 6, 2017)

*Lashley def. Davey Richards (14:32) via kimura submission

*DJ Z(c) def. Andrew Everett, Braxton Sutter, & Trevor Lee (11:59) to retain the X Division Championship
-Z eliminated Everett with a victory roll
-Lee eliminated Sutter via rollup with tights pulled

*Bram def. Robbie E (8:03) with the Brighter Side of Suffering after a low blow behind the ref's back.

*Moose def. Mike Bennett (w/ Maria Kanellis) (16:37) after the Gamebreaker in a No Holds Barred Match. Maria tried to interfere but took an accidental spear from Bennett.

*Mahabali Shera def. Marshe Rockett (6:15) with the Sky High

*Gail Kim came to the ring and cut a promo saying she was not medically cleared to wrestle and the injury is taking longer to heal but clarified that she is not retired, warning Rosemary that she will be coming back for the knockouts championship. Rosemary came out and mocked Gail on the mic, saying she would never wrestle again. Gail attacked her until referees separated them.

*Rosemary(c) def. Sienna (8:55) with the Red Wedding after using the mist to retain the Knockouts Championship

*James Storm (w/ Bram & Kingston) def. Jessie Godderz (10:09) with the Last Call after DCC distractions. After the match, the lights went out and Decay appeared to take out the DCC, spitting mist on Storm & Bram then Abyss laid out Kingston with a chokeslam.

*The Broken Hardys(c) def. Eli Drake & Tyrus (12:23) when Jeff pinned Drake after the Swanton Bomb to retain the Tag Team Championships.

*Eddie Edwards(c) def. Ethan Carter III (15:49) to retain the TNA Worlds Heavyweight Championship with the Boston Knee Party after Lashley interfered and speared EC3 then Davey Richards came out to stop Lashley but accidentally hit EC3 with a steel chair.

Man, I can't get over how much Moose has improved. His style actually remind me of 2006 Samoa Joe, only with a better look. He could be the guy for them. 

Rosemanry continues to be amazing.

The show had really good energy, a lot better than Impact.

If I heard correctly, TNA announced Leva Bates was going to be part of the tapings, but didn't give her a heads up beforehand when they were going to post it. She found out about the announcement via people on her twitch stream chat mentioning it.

Interesting that had a tag match finale rather than the usual ONO gauntlet. I guess they didn't want to run 2 Gauntlets in the same set of tapings.
