Go2Sleep
Brock/Roman and Sasha/Bayley Brooklyn Not sure about the taping dates for LU Season 2, but Mil/Cuerno and the Worldwide Underground trios title win if eligible.
RIPPA
I knew that Ki/Rey was going to be the pick. I am not gonna bother with the Sasha/Bayley matches because I know those aren't Phil's thing Non WWE things Trevor Lee vs. Brad Attitude - CWF Mid-Atlantic (08/19) - this one was my indy match of the year (though AJ Styles vs. Jimmy Rave was fucking great too) Atlantis vs. Sombra - Mask Match (09/15) I am trying to decide which Meiko Satomura match to say Let's go with - vs. Kairi Hojo - Stardom (06/14)
RIPPA
Oh and then there is the pick of the Dragon Lee/Kamaitachi matches
John from Cincinnati
I'll cosign Reigns vs Lesnar. The Beast slapped the Big Dawg around like he was Dennis Franz beating a confession out of a skell.
NintendoLogic
How about Cena/Cesaro? I'm hardly a fan of workrate Cena, but that match is about as good as the style gets.
The Man Known as Dan
From a pure work stand point, I'll nominate Becky Lynch/Sasha Banks. Gut says they'd like that more then the Bayley/Sasha matches.
Curt McGirt
Was Grave Consequences '14 or '15?
Phil Schneider
2015, we had it 3rd on our list http://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2015/04/lucha-underground-episode-19-grave.html
Curt McGirt
Quote I can't think of a Rey singles match I love more. Vs. Eddy at Halloween Havoc? Which, btw, is probably the '97 MOTY
Phil Schneider
Halloween Havoc was a perfect spotfest, but I this had more meat on it.
Go2Sleep
Off topic, but 1997 is gonna rival 1989 for most discussion, I think. All the major promotions were cranking out great stuff that year. On topic, it looks like all of LU season 2 was taped in 2015, so yeah, Mil vs. Cuerno from Ultima Lucha part 2 deserves a look. EricR
Ultima Lucha II was taped 1/30/16. I'd be surprised if Muertes/Cuerno didn't get added to our 2016 MOTY list at some point.
