"Pretty good" has pretty much been where Nakamura's been in NXT, other than the debut match with Zayn, and maybe Toronto.

Maybe he's just working on other things, but while his personality and charisma have carried him, his matches have not set the world on fire.

Nak's match with Aries was really good. Probably because it was his only match to have a little bit of structure in the middle thanks to Austin. The Zayn match sold itself and was a prime example of how two guys can have a great match just doing their signature spots if the situation is right, but "face of the company transition match" isn't a story you can run every time. Since the Balor match, Nak has just been doing his match regardless of what his opponent was/should have been doing.

Yeah, people sleep on that Aries match, but it was damn good.  It just had a tough lot, coming in the shadow of the Zayn match.

The Balor match could've been really good if Nak had bothered to sell the leg.

My interest in NXT has plummeted over the last few months. I think they made a big mistake by not grooming Cedric Alexander to the next babyface ace of NXT.

I think it's the pleather pants. they make his leg strikes look weak to me. don't know why I think that. 

Absolutely agree that the Joe series hasnt been on the level it should be.
