Overly Critical Man
As for anyone that was bothered that Alexa was happy and babyface-ish on Talking Smack last night, I think even the most hardened heels are allowed to love their parents. She was quick to go back to dissing Becky afterward. And at least it wasn't some HHH comes into the ring and hands her flowers and then she hugs Becky pat on the back "This is revolutionary!" kayfabe destroying bullshit they do.
Bustronaut
I would love for Miz to beat Joe and do a promo on how he CAN wrestle a strong style, he just doesn't NEED to to be champion, unlike YOU, Daniel Bryan.
RIPPA
In regards to what is next for Corbin - because of the limited choices on the face side for him to face, it is either Kane as gatekeeper or Ziggler to torment us with that feud again
Casey
I'm glad to see the anti-Bryan contingent has come out in force again. I'm surprised the anti-indy crowd hasn't chimed in on how that "indy darling" James Ellsworth is taking a spot that could be occupied by a WWE homegrown like Tye Dillinger yet. All in due time, I suppose.
John from Cincinnati
On draft night, I'd have felt confident predicting Corbin in a near-main-event feud against either Orton or Cena by year's end. Lack of roster depth isn't helping him. What are the chances Dean is done with AJ? I'd like to think Ambrose vs Corbin is in the cards.
Web Conn
Corbin vs Dean would be cool. What does AJ do now? After the Ellsworth match who does AJ feud with now? Undertaker maybe.
RIPPA
yeah - that's the problem There is no one to feud with AJ now unless it is Cena or Taker The single faces on SDL (per wwe.com's roster) that aren't Dean Ambrose Apollo Crews Dolph Ziggler Jack Swagger James Ellsworth... I guess Kalisto Kane Yup...
John from Cincinnati
Samoa Joe could work as a top face right now if they were so inclined. As much as I'm loving Orton in the Wyatt Family, it's pretty poor timing.
Matt D
You don't necessarily need a big match for the Rumble PPV. Ellsworth could work, either with the deck stacked or in s triple threat with Ambrose.
Wyld Samurai
There's no reason to not go Heel vs Heel for the Rumble. AJ got a bigger pop than Ambrose last night. The Rumble itself is the attraction - not the Championship.
Craig H
We'll get a one-off match between Ellsworth and AJ. Then after that, I still think the best course of action would be to have Cena vs AJ at WM and have that be the place where Cena wins the belt. Then again, AJ has yet to have the feud with Kane that all new champs seem to get. Or Dolph gets elevated just for a change of pace, but that does nothing for Dolph. He's not going to take the strap away from AJ, so it's just another losing, feud. That works with the Miz because the Miz gained a ton from it. AJ gains nothing from that. Or you make a trade between SDL and Raw, bring in Cesaro or whatever and then he challenges AJ.

Dolfan in NYC
Spoiler Ellsworth's taking his shot on Tuesday. A repackaged Erick Rowan is basically the only face turn candidate, but it would completely ignore the natural feud with Bray he'd have.
John from Cincinnati
Kane seems like he has a better shot at a main event spot than I'd like to admit. He's been quietly winning quite a bit lately. A shame that more appealing temporary fixes like Big Show and Mark Henry are allegedly on Raw. Shit like this is why I hate the brand split. Web Conn
I think with Wyatt having the Tag straps might mean we will see Bray and Orton vs Kane and Taker at Mania. They could do AJ vs Taker at the Rumble with the Wyatt family running in and attack Taker leading AJ to take advantage and beat Taker. Then boom Wyatts vs Brothers of Destrution at Mania. If the Shaq match at Mania is really gonna be Big Show's last match, why not do AJ vs Show atleast once while you still can. They say Show is on Raw but If Show turned up on SmackDown would anyone care?
John from Cincinnati
A shame Jack Swagger can't catch a break. Swaggie vs AJ would be lit (is that what the kids are saying now? maybe?).

John from Cincinnati
You know what? Fuck it. Beauty and the Man Beast is probably done. Mini-Rumble on Smackdown to determine the number one contender for the PPV. Slater vs Styles: Redneck vs Redneck.
Web Conn
Randy and AJ haven't been in the ring together what so ever yet, I guess an Orton face turn would lead to the eventual Styles vs Orton match.

In fact, I hope Miz destroys Joe to the shock of Bryan who then has no other recourse but to step into the ring himself and then lose to Miz too. Goldberg vs Miz is obviously the money match at this point. Goldberg/Miz is where I draw the line and tune out; sticking to my other wrestling options.

Samoa Joe answering the call would be mind blowing. Styles v Joe for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble. Would anyone have called that 10 years ago when they were main eventing TNA? If it is Taker though ill be a little sad. AJ is having the run of his lifeand making everything work. Losing to Taker would be like when Punk lost to The Rock. Cena v Taker doesnt need the title to be special. Also if we dont get a Joe/Nak call up from Bryan to fight Miz then there is only one real choice - Shane McMahon. He wrestles without fear, doesnt cheat to win, puts his heart, body and soul on the line every match... Bryan should love that. Also Shane is crazy over with the crowds. After scrambling his brains at SS, I hope Shane doesn't step into the ring again.
Kyuubi
I thought they were running AJ vs Undertaker at Rumble and whoever wins gets Cena at Mania. That made sense to me. I can't be the only one that thought what WWE was aiming for as end game for Cena's 16th run and AJ's title run. Either AJ drops the title to Taker or Cena. Just depends on when and whom. By now I thought Orton would be facing AJ after dealing with the Wyatt's but I guess they are content with the Wyatt's finally winning a feud that is not thrown away like it was nothing(like Daniel Bryan and Ambrose's feud was). I like Randy Wyatt and I like Wyatt finally winning a title. Just wait for the Big Red to return and finally the Wyatt's are a force to be reckoned with. Smackdown needs more faces. Ambrose was getting no chants and booed because people really did not want to see Ambrose as champion again and I am with them. I am sorry but outside of AJ, this dude has been bad and made me think Roman Reigns was the best of the SHIELD. I am glad he will be stuck in a feud with Ellsworth and I am okay with it because dude needs to retune his act. I am okay with Becky turning heel because unlike the men, the women definitely need more competent heels outside of Alexa. Becky was always better at being the ambitious and hungry heel than her Bailey copy and paste underdog routine except more socially acceptable. I like her, but I miss her heel persona more because it was dropped for no reason other than the NXT crowd turned her with praise. Good show. I have to watch the rest of it, but I can't be mad at what I've seen so far.
