RIPPA Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 So I am legit going to buy 2 games in 2017 and that is all I will need 3
Chaos Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I am surprised that they didn't go with a new name for this one, since it is technically the third game, and there isn't much you can do for a true sequel to RDR given the time period it was set and the ending (unless you do a prequel).
JLSigman Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Just now, Chaos said: I am surprised that they didn't go with a new name for this one, since it is technically the third game, and there isn't much you can do for a true sequel to RDR given the time period it was set and the ending (unless you do a prequel). Given the Magnificent Seven vibe to this shot, I'm guessing it's a "set at the same time in another place" thing. 1
RIPPA Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 Well if the leaked map was corrected (and it appears that it was) - it is a prequel to Redemption I think they are now pretending Revolver didn't happen
Red is Dead Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I got dibs on the native on the far right.
The Man Known as Dan Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I never had any expectation that GTA 6 was coming out this decade honestly, so that doesn't bug me.
Craig H Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Yeah, it's going to be a long, long, long time before there's another GTA. Rockstar has GTA: O and they'll just keep focusing on that. Maybe they'll put out an expansion pack.
Neil Koch Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Typically there is about 5 years between GTA games. But with GTA V still being in the top 10 of sales, I'm sure Rockstar is in no huge rush to get GTA VI out. Hopefully RDR 2 will not skimp on the single player content for the sake of online. I recently replayed the story mode of GTA V and it's good but there is zero challenge. It often felt like an interactive cutscene. Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption are really related in name and the wild west setting (Revolver was originally a Capcom game until Rockstar bought the studio that was developing it) so I'm not surprised at the name of the new game.
Technico Support Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 If it's a prequel and John Marston comes back, can they lure Rob Weithoff out of retirement?
Eivion Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I really should finally play Redemption. I bought it 3-4 years ago, but haven't really touched it outside of the first 15-20 minutes.
J.T. Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Thursday cannot come soon enough! REGULATORS~! Have fun playing this game while I am doing my speed run through Phantasy Star 2 or something.

odessasteps Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 It improves exponentially once you get to Mexico.

RIPPA Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 Once you get your XBone - we will be on Red Dead Redemption 3 3

RIPPA Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 If you choose Watch Dog 2 over Andromeda - we will no longer be friends
jstout Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Someone has to be the only person in America playing Watch Dogs.
Cristobal Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Watch Dogs had the steepest curve, going from "Wow this is great" to "ok, this is ok" to "is this fucking game over yet?" I've ever seen.
Brysynner Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 BTW If you have a PS4 and haven't played RDR, it's available for download for the low price of $14.99 1
