*Show opened with Brother Nero coming to the ring for a promo. He called out any member of the DCC for a fight. A DCC video answered saying he would get a no DQ match but his fight for survival would begin now. The DCC came out and brawled with Nero. Nero fought them off and escaped the ring.

 

*Team Go for Broke (DJ Z, Mandrews, & Braxton Sutter) def. Andrew Everett, Marshe Rockett, & Trevor Lee and Rockstar Spud & Decay in an elimination triple threat trios tag match.

-Abyss was DQed for using a steel chair

-Steve eliminated Mandrews via submission

-Everett eliminated Steve with a moonsault

-DJ Z eliminated Everett after the ZDT

-Sutter eliminated Lee after the flatliner

-Sutter eliminated Rockett after the flatliner

*There is a Thanksgiving Dinner segment with Maria/Mike Bennett, Laurel Van Ness/Braxton Sutter at the table and Allie dressed as a pilgrim. Eventually the segment ends with Allie throwing a pie at Laurel, but hitting Maria instead with the pie to the face.

*Ethan Carter III def. Eli Drake to retain his number one contendership along with the stipulation that Eli Drake can not talk for the rest of the year.

 

*Al Snow & Mahabali Shera def. The Tribunal via DQ when Baraka hit Shera with his belt.

 

*Robbie E def. Grado in the Loser Wears a Turkey Suit match.

 

*Bram (w/ James Storm & Kingston) def. Brother Nero in a no DQ match after Storm hit the Last Call and Bram hit the Brighter Side of Suffering.

Fun Thanksgiving Impact. Good stuff from EC3 vs Eli Drake that had a main event feel to it. Felt the finisher kick outs were well done here, like Eli kicking out of the One Percenter when it looked like EC3 didn't hit it perfectly and the finish was a good sequence since EC3's using the choke finisher more now.  Allie was great in her segment as usual. Nice little promo from Rosemary building up next week's cage match. The Turkey Suit returns as the Thanksgiving tradition. Solid tag in Snow/Shera vs the Tribunal and the main event was a pretty good brawl. More greatness from Broken Matt throughout and a perfect closing shot for the episode.

I thought Eli-EC3 had a better "big match feel" than any of Eddie Edwards' title defences, so far, even though the proclamation "Can't talk for the rest of the calendar year" pretty much gave away the result especially as there's, what, 2 more Impacts left this year?  Kind of a silly offer by EC3 "You don't get to talk on 2 more TV shows!"

Was anyone really clamoring for this Al Snow return/comeback, especially with him wearing the tiny tights and spending the bulk of the match dominating two opponents as the announcers talk about how dangerous Baraka/Dax are?!

The Hardy stuff was all pretty great, though I'm a tad disappointed Jeff is now just normal Jeff again.

Also, did Josh Matthews really say during the EC3-Drake match that he doesn't know if Eli Drake has ever challenged for the World Title before when Eli Drake challenged for the World Title in kayfabe terms two weeks ago and in real terms either the same day or day before?!

Is this show the first time in Wrestling had a guy who uses the Rock Bottom and a guy who uses the Downward Spiral doing their finishes to one another, and you can't actually tell who's hit their finish because the actual action of being hit by a Rock Bottom is identical to the action of hitting a Downward Spiral?

Also, when Eli Drake went for a Belly to Back and then dropped EC3 on his Belly instead, I thought Carter had reversed the Suplex into the 1%er. That was a well good match though.
