caley Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Long answer is: I had this backed up on a computer I couldn't get at for a while and wasn't able to really use. Got back on it recently and figured I might as well finish it off, rather then let it die completely. So, again, my apologies. And if anything is wrong...tough, I'm not doing it again! We ended up with 12 ballots, no film was on all 12 ballots, while one got on 11 of them (Way to go, SKOS!). I heavily weighted the Top 10, middle-weighted the middle 11-19, and everything 20 and below got 1 point each. Also, rather than get frustrated and quit again, I'm going to just dump 33-11 here and do nicer roll-outs for the Top 10. @Execproducer @Chaos @The Z @S.K.o.S. @The Natural @Brian Fowler @J.T. @SolidGoldBomb @Control @peterien @caley @Cameron Swift 1

I had a devil of a time finding you, as when you voted your user name showed up as Bald Henry, and when I punched the name into the DVDVR search engine, it turned up no one so I thought you'd been banned. Then I checked my messages and you were still in there. 1

caley Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 Least surprising #1 ever, but I was stunned at just how high 'Inside Out' ended up.
Chaos Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I'm amused that I had the high vote for all of the top 3. I guess I was the hive mind for this small group of voters.

Chaos Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I didn't watch a lot last year, which probably means that my ballot didn't look as varied as it should have. If I had seen a few more films, my entire back 5 at least would probably have fallen off from voting. 20 The Martian 19 Room 18 Mr. Holmes 17 Star Wars: The Force Awakens 16 Creed 15 Mississippi Grind 14 Slow West 13 Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation 12 Beasts of No Nation 11 Hateful Eight 10 Love and Mercy 9 Carol 8 The End of the Tour 7 Bridge of Spies 6 Clouds of Sils Maria 5 Spotlight 4 Sicario 3 Inside Out 2 Ex Machina 1 Mad Max Fury Road
The Z Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I'm surprised I was the top vote for Star Wars. I thought for sure someone would have it at #1 or #2. Here's my ballot: 01. The Martian 02. Mad Max: Fury Road 03. Star Wars: The Force Awakens 04. The Hateful Eight 05. The Revenant 06. Room 07. The Good Dinosaur 08. Victoria 09. Straight Outta Compton 10. Dope 11. Inside Out 12. Spectre 13. Bone Tomahawk 14. Avengers: Age of Ultron 15. It Follows 16. The Walk 17. Jurassic World 18. Sicario 19. Steve Jobs 20. Furious 7 21. Kingsman: The Secret Service 22. Faults 23. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl 24. Deathgasm 25. Ex Machina 26. Shaun the Sheep Movie 27. Love & Mercy 28. Mistress America 29. Spotlight 30. Bride of Spies
caley Posted October 8, 2016 Author Posted October 8, 2016 I was expecting Star Wars to give Mad Max a run for the top spot. BTW, movies I've seen since I submitted my ballot that would have made my list had I seen them in time -Manglehorn (Somewhere near the bottom) -American Ultra (Also near the bottom) -The Hateful Eight (Probably Top 20) -What We Did On Our Holiday (Possibly Top 5)
