KrisZ
NOTICIAS Leo Riano in his column in Diario Record stated on Wednesday that EMLL tried to steal ELITE's TV deal with TV Azteca and once the ELITE brass complained to them about it, they were kicked out of Arena Mexico. Basically they wanted to air the show that airs on Azteca America which is the Friday night Arena Mexico shows on TV Azteca. Alberto el Patron (back to that name) held a press conference yesterday at Hooters in Mexico City where he talked about being released from the WWE this week and said that it was time for him to leave the promotion because he was losing his passion for the business although he said that he may go back there one day. Alberto said that the WWE agreed with his reasons for leaving and even decided not to enforce a 90 day no compete clause meaning he can work anywhere around the world now and the United States in October. Alberto wants to control his workload and doesn't want to be a full-time performer again as he wants to spend time with his family so he is going to pick and choose where he works mentioning that he would be talking to AAA & EMLL especially but he is planning on working about 60 dates a year. Alberto said that he definitely wants to work at Arena Mexico again one day and would love to team with his father before he retires in a couple of years. Alberto said that he wants to have a great life outside of Lucha Libre and not be one of those guys that hangs around forever. Alberto brought up that his father Dos Caras asked him recently if he wanted to be a top wrestler for the rest of his life like his uncle Mil Mascaras or "enjoy his life" and Alberto said that he wanted to enjoy his life. Alberto said that he has been talking with different groups in MMA as well including a front office gig with one of them and he wants to get involved with the restaurant business. Alberto's girlfriend Paige was there at the press conference but kept a low profile sitting to the side and there have been rumors already that she has quit the WWE as well. Taurus quit AAA on Facebook on Thursday night saying that he was going back to the indie scene as Black Tauro and already has been booked to face off against Rush, Hijo del Pirata Morgan, & Trauma I for CaraLucha on 9/16 at Arena San Juan Pantitlan. This also comes on the heels of Hijo del Pirata Morgan quitting days earlier so AAA is seeing more and more leaving the fold. Super Nova who had been rumored to be quitting AAA also announced on Facebook that not only was he still working with AAA but he was the one currently under the Bengala gimmick replacing Ricky Marvin which was known by some since his brother Hijo del Texano mentioned it a while back. AAA officially announced the talent list for their STAR BATTLE JAPAN show on 10/16 at Korakuen Hall and they are the following: Aero Star Angelico Australian Suicide Drago Jack Evans Hijo del Texano Pentagon Jr. Psycho Clown Rey Mysterio Jr. Brian Cage Daga Pagano Fabi Apache Taya Valkyrie Dinastia Mini Abismo Negro Black Mamba Pimpinela Escarlata One name missing from that list is Hijo del Fantasma who was very vocal about not being on the list on Twitter on Wednesday saying that he has been misused since coming back to AAA after his injury then 15 minutes or so later he deleted his tweet and apologized. Shigeo Okumura, Rey Hechicero, Ultimo Guerrero, & Valiente will be going to ROH with the first 3 working in the ROH World Six-Man Tag Titles Tournament and Valiente will be getting another match.
