SUPrUNown Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Dear everyone who says Bray Wyatt doesn't have the ring skills to back up his stick work: Watch his match with Ziggler tonight. Yeah, Ziggler bounces around like a pinball. BUt watch the first right arm across the back Wyatt hits him with. Watch the way he almost rips Ziggler in half with a flying body block. And watch how smooth he hits that snap Sister Abigail to end the match. Man has skills. And if there's a God, Dustin, Cody and Dusty Rhodes will show up next week and RIP SHIT UP on the Shield.
piranesi Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 As someone who doesn't get all pissy when C.M. Punk makes insider comments, I thought HHH was pretty hilarious tonight in the opening. "You never drew a dime, buddy."
Gonzalez Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 That Punk/Heyman segment was absolutely brilliant. Now that's how you book a pro wrestling angle before a PPV.
RIPPA Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 This RAW was as fucking long as that MNF game
MGFanJay Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 This was a super-fun show. Edge had a lot of fire, Heyman bringing back Heenan's bit of faking an injury to avoid a beating ruled. Shame he didn't ask for a small post-ponement of only 6-8 months. Santino-Cesaro overachieved greatly. Santino could just retire now because he got a massive pop in his hometown, got his school plugged, and Cesaro got the longest giant swing on WWE TV in ages, if not ever, and got to call Santino a piece of shit without it getting bleeped. They also built up Goldust-Orton wonderfully with a lot of clips of Dustin being both funny and physical. RVD-Ryback was a mini-disaster, but an amusing one that could set Ryback up as a world title challenger if RVD wins it on Sunday. Show destroying a $10 CRT set backstage was hilarious. The main event was pretty good, but not as great as Orton-Goldust. Show was a marvelous cheerleader. Loved the unbreakable small package getting the win once again and Bryan FINALLY getting one up on the corporation. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/09/raw-9-9-13.html Screens - Full gallery - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/1juj6b889w8qgg4pwmh67unihnvzi8zk 1
rzombie1988 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I reviewed Raw with pics and gifs here:http://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2013/09/wwe-monday-night-raw-992013-results-and.htmlOverall thoughts: The show was pretty good as a whole with Goldust and Heyman being big highlights and mostly saving the show. Edge wasn't bad either. Some shots from the show:
hammerva Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 RAW needs to be sponsored by Massengil because these are the most feminine babyfaces in years. Too much damn crying. Finally a finish that builds a PPV.
Gonzalez Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So we've been waiting for Daniel Bryan to turn the tables on Orton, and we got was a knee to the face. That's it?
Brian Fowler Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 RAW needs to be sponsored by Massengil because these are the most feminine babyfaces in years. Too much damn crying. Finally a finish that builds a PPV.Strong men cry. 3

Too much damn crying. Finally a finish that builds a PPV.Strong men cry. I was dissapointed that Edge didn't say something better in his backstage skit. It was the perfect time to get under HHH's skin and plant the seeds that he's just another Vince clone. "You're going to lose, Hunter. Just like Vince always lost. You've lost the crowd. You've lost the locker room. You've lost your soul. And all you've got to fall back on are some dime store hoods. You're going to lose."
Curt McGirt Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Goldust/Orton was just great, simple and old school as hell. Santino/Cesaro stealing back the crowd through a 1000-rep giant swing and a shitty judo throw into a pin was even better though. 1
NintendoLogic Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Seeing how non-Americans react to Fandango makes me think that Zeb Colter has a point. 3
Victator Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Goldust is the best in the world. JBL tearing into AJ was great. I think her disrespecting Lawler set him off.
notoriusvig Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Can anyone please get me a gif of that wacky Daniel Bryan figure sign with the moving hands/fingers?
caley Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 When oh when will WWE stop burying Randy Orton?! 11
StarChief EagleDemon Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I feel like all those years of fandom has primed the pump for us to expect our babyfaces to get mad when provoked. Now they just get sad. It's a new world.
Gonzalez Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I think it's stupid that Daniel Bryan's main motivation is to prove Triple H wrong. What he should be doing is trying to kick his ass.
Big Fresh Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I wish someone posted a pcture of Ricardo sticking his finger in his mouth like a 9-year-old. That cracked me up.
sydneybrown Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I enjoyed HHH telling Edge he had a "neck like a stack of dimes" when the last recipient of that remark was standing right next to him.
Big Fresh Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 JBL tearing into AJ was great I must have missed this.
JRGoldman Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 During the Goldust match, JBL said no one even remembers Crockett. This is clearly true about the writing staff, because if they did, they would find a way to make all the matches on a PPV interesting on a go home show. The Goldust match was awesome, the Bryan match was awesome, the rest of the show pretty forgettable for me. Is it wrong that I would order Night of Champions if they announced Randy Orton vs. Dusty?
kafkonia Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So we've been waiting for Daniel Bryan to turn the tables on Orton, and we got was a knee to the face. That's it? That's his secondary finisher. Seems good to me.
