Death From Above Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 David Byrne out here at 67 years old still with more energy than my dumb ass
Lamp, broken circa 1988 Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I woke up to a violent anxiety attack, and as if summoned, here is new Protomartyr to put what I was feeling into too-uncomfortable Words.

Curt McGirt Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Fuck yeah! I just downloaded a recorder since my ancient tape recorder crapped out on me after literally a lifetime of use, just so I can keep riffs I come up with. With the Kaosscilator I can make beats. Plus, it's just kind of fun in general. I'm trying to figure out how to play and record a D-beat and a blast beat. At least I managed to get a 300 RPM one-beat going.
Curt McGirt Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 (edited) Dropkick Murphys are streaming live on Youtube right now. Edited March 18, 2020 by Curt McGirt

sabremike Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Enjoy a show from the Bouncing Souls 30th Anniversary tour from White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, NJ (I was at the date in Brooklyn a few days earlier):

Robert C Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 No you fucking virus. You don’t get to take Prine.
Octopus Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 I was just listening to The Tree of Forgiveness the other day. Fuck.
Johnny Sorrow Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 I just read that Prine is now in stable condition. 1
Curt McGirt Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Colbert aired the two of them playing a song together tonight. Creepily, Colbert said to the audience it was either going on the Internet or on the air "in the event something terrible happens to us all".
Casey Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Sturgill Simpson tested positive for coronavirus - a month after he showed symptoms, because his doctor didn’t think he showed enough symptoms or something.
Control Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 I’ve really been enjoying the “KCRW - Henry Rollins” playlist on Spotify, which is 219 hours of stuff Hank played on his radio show.
Curt McGirt Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 You can find those here too https://www.kcrw.com/music/shows/henry-rollins 1
Matt D Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 The new Fiona Apple album scrapes like a brillo pad across the soul.
Southside Jim Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Somebody needs to tell Mike D that he needs to lay off the tanning beds. He looks like an emaciated Robert Evans as he promotes the new Beastie Boys documentary.
