JLowe
I trashed a couple thousand cards in anticipation of my move, lots of 90s rookies and inserts that are worthless now, some 2000s football cards I got when I briefly caught the bug, and some older stuff that was just beat to hell because I was a kid who liked reading them and wrapping them in rubber bands. Kept maybe 40-50 of favorite players and have a couple hundred to take someplace and hopefully get at least 10% of what they're worth because I can't be bothered to sell on eBay and I sure don't have the money for grading. hammerva
For people in the Chicago area, next week is the National Sports Collectors Convention from Wednesday to Sunday. Over 1500 tables and a whole bunch of corporate sponsors, breakers, and others making it one of the biggest card shows in the year. Also tons of autographs to get as well. odessasteps
Quote Last week Panini sued Fanatics, alleging it has a monopoly over the trading card industry. Today Fanatics sues Panini, alleging unfair competition and tortious interference.

Cleavy
https://www.f4wonline.com/news/wwe/wwe-terminates-partnership-with-panini-for-breach-of-contract so does this mean cards will be purchased primarily via WWE Shop going forward? Hail Sabin
No, they will still be in stores we think quality control & price increase could be a problem.
Kevin Wilson
Sounds like Panini won the initial court date (at least to delay things) so I imagine their next set will still come out. NFL and NBA are in a similar situation with Panini/Fanatics, with some players only signing for one but not the other, its just a mess. Probably for the next year things will be in flux until everything settles down, I'd be weary of buying any boxes right now.
