JULY 2016 WRESTLING DISCUSSION THREAD

There's a rumor out there that Jimmy Yang has re-signed with WWE.

I'm calling it now before someone else does: They're teaming him up with the Chinese guy they just signed and bring them in as Big Wang & Little Jimmy Wang Yang.

Nope, they're finally actually running with the Tajiri Yakuza angle.  Tajiri & Akio vs Bullet Club will be featured on Wrestlemania a Smackdown exclusive PPV.

Update from Moose himself is that he has an offer from TNA but he has not signed it (MLW was the one first reporting that he signed)

According to the SHEETZ moose has a few offers on the table

– Moose has his share of offers on the table for where he’ll go next. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the ROH star, who is out of contract currently, has received offers from TNA, ROH and AAA, the latter of which could include a run in Lucha Underground.

According to the site, Moose is contemplating the offers and plans to make a decision by next week. WWE had been interested in him but backed off over a domestic violence arrest back in May of 2009 when he was with the New England Patriots. That allegation saw him get suspended by the NFL for the first game of the 2010 season.

Austin was pulling in so much money he could probably whip it out in the general direction of Stephanie and get nothing more than a "goddamnit Steve, you can't whip your dick out at my daughter in front of the boys".

The whole problem is, if Bray doesn't win this fued, he might as well either go for a repackaging or just ask for his release.  This gimmick will be beyond help.

So porn, murder, sex stuff that gets most people on the registered offenders list, all WWE approved. Just don't hit the misses boys .

The stuff I've seen written about Moose and WWE makes me think he'll be in NXT sooner instead of later.  They're supposedly still interested.  They just don't want to sign him a domestic batterer on the heels of Adam Rose and Jerry Lawler making the media and feel the timing will be better down the road.  I feel like the company would have overlooked the domestic violence charge six months ago.

Completely agree that it's hypocritical given the stuff they likely overlook for people on the roster.

Something that needs to be mentioned from the Scott Hall DVD/  Scott is talking to Baron Corbin, giving him advice.  He says something along the lines of "Yo...i dig the look.  The 'I go to the gym sometimes, but I really don't care thing.".  Lol.....it's great just telling the guy he looks like a flabby piece of shit to his face.

Stupid board wouldn't let edit in the "unless you made us $100 mill, then it's ok to hit her."

Aside from being a domestic abuser, his spear looks like shit.

But you see, they're looking for people who are "coachable". Moose would be everything Apollo Crews isn't. Mainly someone with intensity and charisma who can do more than just smile.

I can't believe anyone thought that TNA thing was real. Like they have $100k for anything.

Scott Hall has a great interaction with Corbin in an episode of Breaking Ground. Corbin tells him something along the lines of how he's a heel and Scott Hall fires back "ah so everyone figured out you're a dick?"

I don't know if it would be dangerous for him to be on the road or not, but man would it be cool if Scott Hall was GM of one of the shows. I just miss seeing that guy on my TV. Hell, the whole Kliq should be a GM committee. I'm going to be picking up that DVD real soon.

I think they have found that him dropping in at the Performance Center works best because it keeps him close to the good influences in his life and the young wrestlers apparently LOVE talking to him and learning from him
