Bellator is changing up their format. Essentially, once you win a tournament, you're placed into a pool of fighters than can get a title shot whenever. If they wanted, they could do Chandler-Alvarez eight times for the belt since both are tournament winners. But someone like Tito can't get a title shot unless he goes through a tournament.

Basically what they've been doing recently anyways, now they just made it official.

Bellator fighters want to participate in the tournament to make a quick buck and a name for themselves, but none of them or the former champions or tournament winners ever want to do it again.

It's time to get rid of the tournament format entirely.  It's completely pointless now.  They've already gone to four-man tournaments and awarding random title shots or putting together random interim titles.

There's rumors that Rin Nakai has signed with the UFC.

If true she's expected to debut at the September Japan card headlined by Hunt vs. Big Country.

Rin Nakai at 5'1" seems really short to be fighting at 135, probably should be fighting at 115 if possible.

Have you seen how bulked up she is?

Kimbo only beat bad local heavyweights (or super middleweight club fighters who blew up to HW) before he left Gary Shaw Productions. There are some bad local MMA fighters willing to do the same thing just to be on television.
