EVA
Excellent. I put it in my RT top 5, banking on the idea that if it was even haflway decent (which I figured it would be) most critics would give it a fresh rating to stick it to the misogynist douchebags who were mad about it. Hopefully it'll hold and make up for the X-Men taking me to the cleaners.

Death From Above
At least around here, there doesn't seem to be any promotional push for the Ice Age movie on TV at all. Put together with the current RT score it sure looks a lot like that franchise has hit the "we could have gone direct-to-video but figured we'd try the theater thing one last time" phase. J.T.
I have this really bad feeling that the pool will go to the person that has Suicide Squad ranked highest for BO and RT. I don't think it will be Guardians of the Galaxy late summer sleeper mega-hit, but I do think it will perform well above expectations.
Elsalvajeloco
Just now, J.T. said: I have this really bad feeling that the pool will go to the person that has Suicide Squad ranked highest for BO and RT. What are the expectations? Based on this slaughterhouse of a summer, I thought WB would be happy with somewhere between $75-$100m. It would also be their biggest summer hit this year by a wide margin unless I'm missing one of their releases.
J.T.
So much for the Odd Trek Movies Suck curse. Star Trek Beyond (#13 if you're counting from the first film and include the TNG movies or #3 if you're only counting the third reboot) is tracking at 87% Fresh. Ice Age is tracking at 19%.
