Randy Pitchford of Gearbox games (creator of Borderlands and Battleborn), Xavier, and Penn Jillette of Penn & Teller

3 of my favorite people in the world

Really? Randy Pitchford is a horrible person.

Last Saturday night, I ended up breaking a significant dry spell with a lovely young woman I met on this very internet. Though I enjoyed myself, I felt uneasy throughout our encounter. As though I were being watched. The next morning when I woke up, I found out why.

I now realize this feeling was the spirit of Big Sexy guiding me. On my drive home, I could only think "Zakk_Sabbath went home with a black girl, I guess to show that he's cool."

Looks like Michael Hayes is singing again.

Also, Booker in the background.  He's probably on a hoverboard too.

Blatantly lying about Aliens: Colonial Marines, doing a walkthrough for content that wasn't even in the game and laughing when consumers dared complain about it. Dude is trash.

Stop that nonsense. Dude had a vision for a game that didn't work out. As has been the case for every bad game in history. And every other artistic medium. The consumers should be laughed at. You're not entitled to shit just because an artist made something bad. Gamers are the whiniest.

He also gave the world Borderlands.

EDIT: No group is more hostile to the hobby they claim to love than videogame fans.

He did voice over for a walkthrough showing gameplay with button prompts that wasn't actually in the game.

How is that not bullshit?

He didn't have a vision for Aliens, he had a vision for Borderlands which is where the money went.

"Work-in-progress" means things change. This walkthrough that you're talking about was months before the game shipped. I cannot believe this needs explaining.

And as far as your money comment, there is zero proof of that. As a matter of fact, Gearbox got dropped from that lawsuit. Randy claims he lost $10-$15 million on the game, and the fact that the lawsuit went no where gives me more reason to believe that, than the wild Internet lynchmob with no evidence.

When you treat content creators as personally bad people because sometimes in-between their great art, they make bad art, then you get less of it. This attitude is bad for the industry. The game was bad. Doesn't mean the people are.

EDIT: I'm not engaging in this crap anymore. If you wanna say horrible personal things about a person because a videogame didn't turn out well, go ahead.

Dude, I once went on a Vegas romance vacation to the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino, where each room is themed to a different movie.

We got a League of Their Own room.

You try getting it on in a room with A GIANT ROSIE O DONNELL PHOTO STARING AT YOU.

Right next to the bed.  Luckily Tom Hanks was on the other side.  It was like he was cheering me on and saying "Don't turn around bro, you're not gonna like it one damn bit"

Big Daddy Cool would have been a step up and I would have at least Too Sweeted the photo once when nobody was looking

I actually would like an explanation as to why the game became worse in every way. Perhaps because the demo was total bullshit and not actual gameplay.

Yeah, he is a bad person. He's an egomaniac and an asshole, I've seen and read plenty of interviews to support this.

Stop defending a bad game and a bad person.

Getting back on topic, this my be my favorite photo that I took Mania weekend.
