Brain Salad Surgery is still one of my favorite albums ever. Saw them in Peoria back in 1993 and they all still had the chops in spades, especially in a fairly small (2,000) theater where they were lurking right on top of you. I am now wondering what became of my college friend who had an ELP tattoo and had a band that allowed him to explore Moog goodness every weekend. That band was, and is, cool. If there's any way his partner was responsible it would be some Dateline NBC shit, but I don't want to believe that at all. Suicide is at least something I can accept.
