RIP Alan Rickman

Seriously, between the Harry Potter series (Which I'm not huge in but think was pretty good for most of the latter half of the series), Die Hard, Galaxy Quest (one of my favorite comedies ever), and Dogma, I'm not sure if there's been an actor I've constantly enjoyed there work in completely different settings more then Rickman. Fuck this World, man.

Say what you want about Kevin Costner's version of Robin Hood - Rickman fucking owned in it.

BECAUSE IT'S DULL YOU TWIT, IT'LL HURT MORE.

God fucking damn.

My favorite line of that film, my friends and I repeated it constantly, I was a fencer & it was a go to joke for all of us.

The missus is heartbroken. Alan Rickman was her favourite actor. She even got to meet him once, and he was the most polite, warm and humble man.

I liked him a lot, but mainly because of his voice. He had one of those voices that you could listen to for hours, no matter what he was saying. Especially if he was, say, reciting Shakespeare:

Personally, I loved him probably most in Rasputin.
