Figured I'd start plugging this here. This is the show Brian Last and I do each week just to yak about all sorts of old-school wrestling wackiness. Our show with Jim Cornette is our most listened to so far,  and here's our latest episode.

David Bixenspan and The Great Brian Last embark on another edition of the 6:05 Superpodcast to ruminate on a number of topics including:

  • The ridiculous history of "pro wrestling legend" The Hangman/Bruce Pobanz.
  • Japanese wrestling magazines in general including some new ones that Bix just got.
  • The amazing tale of the giant pro wrestler who worked as a bodyguard for drug runner Jon Roberts from Cocaine Cowboys and American Desperado.
  • Listener requests.

And much more, including some of The Hangman's most notable colleagues.

I stumbled on your podcast over the holidays after exhausting all my usual rasslin podcasts while driving.

The Cornette episode was great. I'm fascinated by his elaborate antenna/tv/vcr setups in the early days.

The Jack Donovan story is nutso--one of the sleaziest things I've ever heard in the realm of pro wrestling.

I'm currently listening to the Beau James episode.

Good stuff man.
