The Z
We all need more British wrestling in our lives Now if more of it would just end up on the interwebs Well, as long as you're willing to shill out some cash, everything is available. A subscription to PROGRESS costs $7.99/month, which is totally worth it in my opinion. ICW is also available for $6.99/month. One should really live in the UK right now. Here's just a few highlights that are happening this month: Revolution Pro 01/03/2016 - Will Ospreay vs. ACH 5 Star Wrestling 01/13/2016 - Rey Mysterio vs. Jay Lethal - AJ Styles vs. John Morrison - PJ Black vs. Colt Cabana 5 Star Wrestling 01/14/2016 - Rey Mysterio vs. AJ Styles 5 Star Wrestling 01/15/2016 - John Morrison vs. PJ Black Revolution Pro 01/16/2016 - AJ Styles vs. Zack Sabre Jr. - Marty Scurll vs. Will Ospreay - Jay Lethal vs. Mark Haskins - Big Damo vs. Mike Bailey - Colt Cabana vs. Doug Williams 4FW 01/23/2016 - Pentagon Jr vs Drago - Koji Kanemoto vs. Kenny Omega
Liam
I'll be hitting up Revolution Pro Wrestling in a couple of weekends time. Not as big a fan as I have been of their cards, but I'm sure there'll be some worthwhile stuff. https://www.youtube.com/user/WrestletalkTV/videos- every week, BWW is here for a week for free before you have to subscribe. Effectively the TV show for NGW, it has El Ligero, Rampage Brown, Nathan Cruz, Zack Gibson and a range of other local talents. https://www.youtube.com/user/IPWrestlinguk/videos- they've seemed to stop uploading, but here is the RevPro channel - has 30 episodes covering big matches from the previous few years https://www.youtube.com/user/discoverywrestling- not checked these guys out, but there last big show (November) is on the channel (as are their other shows) and has Damo/Rampage Brown in a Last Man Standing match. ICW (https://icwondemand.pivotshare.com/) and IPW:UK (https://ipwuk.pivotshare.com/) have Pivotshare streaming as well - don't watch either, though ICW are one of the bigger UK promotions at the moment, and IPW: UK have some heritage, though they also seem quite reliant on imports at times. Liam
- Koji Kanemoto vs. Kenny Omega Apparently, KK is injured so this match is off.

Liam
I know there are some shows in places like Eastbourne, but it does make me wonder why Brighton (or at least, closer to Brighton) doesn't get booked. I'm guessing as it is probably very expensive, but it is a bit of a shame.
J.T.
We all need more British wrestling in our lives Now if more of it would just end up on the interwebs Who are the new peeps to get excited about? Haven't heard much UK buzz now that Devitt and Neville are here in the states. Rampage Brown, maybe?
RIPPA
You are killing me JT For your tastes Rampage Brown Dave Mastiff Damien O'Connor (aka Big Damo) Dean really likes Big Daddy Walter and Dean Allmark (I like Allmark - not as much as Dean. I'm indifferent on Walter) Since you always liked Balor more than me - you will probably dig folks like Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll
Linus
Ospreay is my absolute favourite to watch. He has it down. I also really like Mastiff, and Scurll, and Grado. My top pick of the lesser known guys is Eddie Dennis, Mark Andrews's tag-team partner in FSU. Further down, just off the radar, there's Ryan Smile, Blackbelt Dawkins, Sha Samuels, Paul Robinson, and there's a ton of young guys coming through, especially from the PROGRESS training school. Lazlo Woodbine
I think Damo is head trainer for one of the schools in Scotland, I want to say Mikey Whiplash is too but might be wrong. There are a lot of decent young wrestlers around. I'll probably expand on this later but here's a list of wrestlers I keep an eye out for, aside from those already mentioned, that you might find worth looking up - Mikey Whiplash, Jack Gallagher, Robbie Dynamite, Johnny Moss, Tony Spitfire, AJ Anderson, Wild Boar, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Jackie Polo, Noam Dar, Joe Hendry, Kenny Williams, Lou King Sharp, Crusher Craib, Scotty Swift, Ringo Ryan, Mike Bird, Nikki Storm, Bete Noire, Sammi Baynz, Viper and April Davids. There's so much wrestling going on, there was a wrestling show in my local community centre recently, think it was the first time in about 20 years. There's a fed in Caithness too, for fuck's sake. Firebreaker Chip
Ospreay's very young, right? His selling is kind of bad Shawn Michaels passion of the christ impersonation stuff but his offense is ridiculously spectacular. Bought the Revolution Pro on-demand NJPW crossover show from Reading last year and enjoyed his match with Okada That 16th Jan RevPro show isnt as stacked with New Japan talent as their last few big ones but it looks like Styles is still working it so they should still get a good crowd. Dunno if he's physically up to having a big epic with his current health/future plans though (I'm not going cos January)
Linus
He's working Zack Sabre Jr so I imagine they can work a different type of match and still keep the fans happy. I'm not going either because it's not a great card for the money. That and I'm seeing Pentagon Jr, Drago, Kenny Omega & Hikaru Shida in Swindon - SWINDON! - the week after.
The Z
You know you're spoiled, when you can say no to Zack Sabre Jr. vs. AJ Styles.
Sky Blue Sam
There's so many good promotions in the UK right now, we're spoiled for choice. I live in Nottingham, and just within a 1hr radius, I've got HOPE (maybe the UKs most underrated promotion, always puts on a good show), Southside (who book a lot of imports), House of Pain (an academy promotion of guys trained by Stixx, fun cheap shows), Coventry Pro, AMP and Legacy, all of whom put on good/great shows. To add to the many names listed above, Stixx, Jack Starz, Chris Brookes and Tyler Bate are all great.
Liam
Eddie Dennis is the perfect example of a guy who needs to wrestle his size more often. He should be beasting guys, not trying to do beanpole lucha.
Sky Blue Sam
The best use of Eddie I've seen was in Triple X, where he was their heel champion and he worked as a slightly demented chickenshit heel. The highlight was him backing out of a match with Damian Dunne with a doctors note, saying he was hurt and couldn't risk getting injured as he had to go back to work next week, and the headmistress of his school would fire him if he came in on crutches. Linus
Yeah, heel Eddie is great Eddie, although I like the face Eddie, too. I just like Eddie. He needs new gear, though.

Ultimo Necro
I'm sure I described Damo on here before as Irish Brody that busts out a Van Terminator once in a blue moon. The dudes a beast and will be a good base for Bailey.
Liam
Damo vs Bailey was fine. Scurll vs Ospreay was insane.

Liam
Solid, though I felt the finish came a bit out of nowhere. Scurll vs Ospreay kinda killed a lot of the rest of the action. It probably overdid spots and false finishes in the grand scheme of things, but it meant the main event wasn't as well received by the live fans I feel.
