Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition for the ps4 is 10 bucks on psn.

I was about to post this too. I really don't need anything else on my pile of shame, but this and Rayman being both $10 is tempting.

Now, I know why you Steam folks freak out with these PSN Flash Sales.

I was thinking of getting back into MKX. If I never bought any DLC, is the $25 XXL Pack worth buying over the two Kombat Packs while the second is on sale for $10? I assume it has some but not all of the extra costumes?

I bought MKX at launch and enjoyed it and then traded it a couple of months later for I don't even remember what. I thought about rebuying it cheap as XL, but I'm not sure that $30 is a low enough price point for me quite yet. If you haven't played it at all, it's a really good entry in the series. I completely skipped MK9, so it was cool to see how the series had evolved some.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I have MKX. I never bought any of the DLC. Now I want to pick up the 8 post-launch chars and am trying to figure out whether the extras in the all-in-one pack are worth it over the two 4-char bundles.

Sorry, I read that correctly the first time. It's the cost of being exhausted and being at work that made my brain have a shut down moment. That I don't know. Doesn't the "all in one" pack come with an extra character tied to the XL release?

I had been thinking I would finally play Gone Home via the console but I really can't beat $4 via the GOG sale

If you had a ps4, you'd have gotten it for free.

I'm gonna pick up Gone Home as it's only £3.09 and i've just finished Life Is Strange (What an amazing game) and graphically this looks quite similar.

Edit: Can not wait for the Steam Sale, this is the first one i've ever had as I got my first ever gaming PC this year. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

Further edit, it doesn't seem to have many good reviews, can anybody confirm or deny its bad reviewness? Reviews just taken from GOG's page:

Interactive stories/"art games"/"walking simulators" tend to get really bad reviews from a certain subset of users because they don't fit those users' definitions of what a game is. If you've never played anything like that or Firewater or Everyone's Gone to the Rapture, Gone Home is a good place to stick your toe in as its well made and affecting, and was a huge influence on later projects in the genre.

Funny you mention that, when I asked a friend about this game she also said it was like Firewater and she liked it. Well, I'll check out the PS4 version since apparently I already own it.

Thanks!

Gone Home is great for people who grew up in the '90s. Lots of nostalgia porn.

Rayman Legends is like one of the best 2D platformers of all-time, so people should buy that. Also, people should buy Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition if they don't already have it. You have to get past the opening, which mostly plays itself and is QTE-heavy, and then the game opens up. It's not perfect, but it's very good. Can't beat $4.49 or whatever the price is.

LIMBO, which is a pretty well reviewed platformer, is free on Steam today only. Just head to the store page and it's an easy claim.

Came here to post that.  I bought it a year or so ago on Steam and it was well worth the $5 or whatever I spent on it.  It's a fun atmospheric platformer with some clever puzzles, and it's FREE so check it out.

Just a personal thank you, I never really got how Humble worked with the donation aspect, I thought ' Pay $10 (£6.73) or more to also unlock! ' was to get just one of the options available, not the whole lot.

£6.73 for all of those games? Nuts, I was just about to get Sonic Generations on the Steam sale for £9.99.

Good shout on this one.
