I'd compare the potential Eagles fans reaction with those of Giants/Jets fans in New York, but Philly doesn't have a #1 next year, so I'm guessing it wouldn't be the same. The Shield will figure out a way to get the Eagles not just a number one but THE over all #

There was a ton of out cry by then Jordans agent that the Clippers weren't talking to him but to DeAndre directly. He cried about it but Jordan ended up where he wanted to be, which is how it should be. That just supports my theory that it sometimes benefits the team and the player to reach out directly. Death From Above
For those that need a reference this is the only major live draft ever held in Philly: This is my favourite draft clip of all time and the greatest Gary Bettman performance ever. One of my favourite videos ever made.

Death From Above
He's actually been an amazing comedic figure since he started embracing that everyone hates his guts. "I love your passion."

Serious Darius Bagfelt
He should just Ric Flair strut to the mic when they start booing at this years draft

TV ratings would go through the roof as we watch in glee as MADCAP and his fellow Eagles fans burn down half the city after their team picks some scrub they could have gotten as an UFA.

Josh Mann
Don Shula has been hospitalized with "fluid retention", which is usually code for kidney issues. Normally this wouldn't merit mentioning, but fucking 2016, man.

Kuetsar
He has his moments, but this was coming after he shit the bed BIG time against the Jags. Brian Fowler
I don't think, at this point, they should be planning to keep him, but how the hell does it help anyone to announce this now?
Burgundy LaRue
Yeah, that seems counterproductive. The only thing Manuel would work for is to look good for other teams. But the Bills' choice to announce that is puzzling, to say the least.
Joe Lucia
The deadline for all teams to announce whether they picked up the fifth year option on their 2013 first rounders was Tuesday. They didn't have a choice to wait.

Same rule for all teams. Silly people. There is no way in hell EJ would be picked up, most of them aren't. I am making a mental list of people that post in this forum that don't know NFL rules Here is a list of all the team's decisions.
Brian Fowler
Oh, I misunderstood. I thought they still had a year to decide on EJ, and they were announcing that they weren't going to pick it up next year. This is already year four for him? Wow, doesn't seem like it.
