Gonzo
Interesting strategy there in OT... Has anyone elected to kick before?!?! Vikings did it against the Rams earlier this season. They got a three-and-out on the first defensive series and got a game-winning FG on their first OT possession. Winds at TCF Bank Stadium were blowing at about 30 MPH that afternoon, which is why he did it.

Niners Fan in CT
What's the scenario with the Texans? I'm assuming if both teams are 8-8 then the Colts win the division then?
RIPPA
What's the scenario with the Texans? I'm assuming if both teams are 8-8 then the Colts win the division then? ESPN's PLayoff thingy makes it seem like the Texans still hold the tiebreaker via "Strength of victory" So either they clinched or something is wrong with the thingy. elizium
They have split the season series, they would have the same divisional record, what's the 3rd tiebreaker?
Gonzo
They have split the season series, they would have the same divisional record, what's the 3rd tiebreaker? TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined. Two Clubs Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Strength of victory. Strength of schedule. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. Best net points in common games. Best net points in all games. Best net touchdowns in all games.
