DECEMBER 2015 WRESTLING - Try 2

so, Joey Ryan is sponsored by YouPorn (Sports) now.

That's... certainly something.

Stupid question. Does this violate the WWE's "you can't do naughty things before we signed you" contract clause? Not saying they would sign him or anything, just curious where this would fall on their scale since they shit-canned the ISIS Amazon because she had some naughty photos. That's the reason they fired her right, that and attitude?

That's what I've always heard, which I think is totally ridiculous.

She should've been fired because she's the drizzling shits in the ring.

Man, Cornette on the 6:05 podcast is like the greatest thing about wrestling. Talking about that time in history and tape trading, something that is now, for all purposes, dead, and his love of beta....Cornette might be from another era, but damn what a time to be in wrestling.

Isis the Amazon worked a number of shows in Oregon, including against people I've worked with in the past (she beat Wade Hess for a local title at one point).  From what I've been told she was a bit of a primadonna and obviously not very good, but she at least had a look and the size to go with it, which is more than I can say for a lot of the people around here.

(On a side note, it amazes me how many different people I came into contact with over ten years in the business.  It's one of the parts I wouldn't trade for anything.)

Does WWE actually have a formal personal conduct policy like some of the major sports do?  Like, one that's actually written up anywhere?  It'd be an interesting read.

God DAMN was that a gnarly accident. Did I just witness a death? I can't find shit about this guy on Google. Catchy ring music, though

They did a follow up. He lived. The clip they were showing was from some "VH1"  type show and it says something about it in Spanish.

In the new observer Meltz mentions that if anyone ever mentioned Johnny Saint on TV they would get heat (Before this last special of course).

Anyone know the story behind this?

Well then I guess Corey Graves is fucked based on the last Takeover show

Meltz implied NOW it's ok, hence the graphic and the camera identifying him.

Something tells me it's a bit of a grey area depending on how public and how risque whatever they did was.  I also wouldn't be surprised if it's something they pull up arbitrarily if they're looking for a reason to let someone go.  Multiple indy guys, Rollins included, did those softcore "private wrestling" videos and that didn't seem to hurt his chances.  Wasn't Mickie James a stripper before getting into wrestling?

For Isis, she was actually the person who proved WWE's rule. It was said when she was fired the real issue wasn't that she posed for the photographs, but that she didn't disclose to WWE that she had posed for the photographs when she was found and they later discovered them.

By contrast, if someone did those things, but they inform WWE they did them when they're hired, then it won't cause them to lose the job.

It's funny though, considering WWE in the not so distant past had Divas pose for Playboy to much fanfare.

With Playboy going non-nude now and essentially becoming Maxim, there's always a chance they could strike a deal and start having diva's in the issues again.

Just in time for WrestleMania...

(going non-nude in March 2016)

I keep hearing a rumor that the only real reason AR Fox hasn't gotten an NXT deal is because of the porn he did before becoming a wrestler. As far as Mickie James, looks like all she did was pose for some nude pictures. I know some of them were published by Leg Show. The others I have no clue where they were published.
